Another method to defeat the automatic brake feature is to add a short seat belt extension. They are under $10 on amazon and make putting the seat belt on easier and quicker as well as defeating the suto brake when door open.

3 Month Update! 6K and 3 Months. As suspected reliability is far superior to the 2018. By now the recalls on the 2018 were completely out of control, flat tires( did they really improve Duratracs?) and I had several annoyances. For now I have had;

1. 1 Initial hard reset of uconnect due to connectivity. No issues since.
2. 1 melted transmission cable due to lines being routed to close to the manifold. Not a total failure, but came close. Tied out the way since New Mexico Ram Dealers do not currently have the ability to service vehicles.

Not perfect but not terrible. More things I can confirm.

1. Front locker is reliable
2. Garage Door Opener now works unlike the 2018, all be it 30% less range then competitors.
3. Ram Box system...damn, love it.
4. Despite being flimsy, poor designed and useless, the Mopar rock sliders are still heavy!
