So I ordered mine in April 2025 thinking I would receive a 2025 model, but as it turns out the dealer called yesterday and mine didn't get built before the cut off. So, mine will be built as a 2026. I'm told all the orders taken up to this point that are in a similar situation will be the first batch of 2026's. Has anyone else fallen into this scenario?

BTW, mine received a new VIN but kept the same VON and the "Order processed date" changed to June 26th.

Pretty crazy. 2025 delayed until end of January to March depending on model, some never released at all. Then a month later 2026s. Dang near a year earlier for the 2026! Incredible chaos that never seems to end. They roll out the longer warranty a few days before Ram is ranked with the worst possible reliability. This is like watching a soap opera!

The upside is the 10yr/100k warranty and with 6.4 lifters having a poor reputation that might be handy. The small downside was the price might increase ~$700. The dealer said "they might be able to work around that..." we'll see. At this point I'm hoping delivery happens before the weather gets cold so I can do some rust preventive on a prefectly clean frame and underbody (i.e. undercoating, fluid film, ceramic coating, etc).

I ordered a truck in may and its at the dealer as a 2025. So not sure....

If you ordered one and it’s been built already then it’s a 2025. The orders that haven’t been built yet will be 2026’s. If it has been built then it was assigned a 2025 VIN. My VIN changed when they couldn’t get it built in time.

I had MD quote me a ‘25 3500 on Fri, and they called to say it would be a ‘26.

Ive not followed much since I picked up my ‘22…. Why are the ‘26s coming so early? Any known changes to them?

Wish they would update the build and price, still pimping 2024s while selling 2026 and 2025 was only a couple of months, crazy

They're not, they're kind of in the normal order cycle. 2025 orders opened VERY late and only ran 6 months.

I was thinking the same thing. Why is 2024 even an option on the build page?
I also just realized that I had the dealer remove the inverter from the order to avoid being a 2026 back in May. Now it’s going to be a 2026 either way and probably not getting the inverter…First world problems I suppose.

Seems like the inverter is back on track. And with a PW order you always order 2 alternators anyways for the winch, so why would you not add the inverter. For me its now waiting for paint, which they indicate end of year, or 1st quarter. Who knows what other bombs will drop the rest of this year. I don't think they understand how little confidence buyers have, and when even the build and price page is out of whack all year, its not a good look.

I want the typical Marquee red color Flame Red I believe it is. The Blue is also same time line. Build and Price only shows Molten Red Now. Maybe Flame red was deleted?

Yes, I believe flame red was replaced with molten red. Like patriot blue was replaced with forged blue, which is what I went with.

I also went with 2 alternators, because a winch is inevitable for me.

Anthony says Flame Red is coming still. So going to wait. 2 Alternators for the winch is amazing. I have maybe 1000hrs on the winch, and just completely destroyed it, snapped line and solenoids failed. Just rebuilt it. I cannot imagine a work truck with out a winch, and will never go off road with out one. But the 2 alternators is the icing.

Anyone know what changes are coming for 2026? Someone on another forum said keycards for limited and limited longhorn, but I have yet to read anything about updates. Im sure there wont be much changes!

I believe I've seen complaints the 1500 keycards don't work, or didn't get issued...

FWIW, my Wife's 24 Kia keycard and phone/wallet keys work great (if you have a supported phone). walk up unlock, hatch, starting, etc. never a glitch. Same with the infotainment. Ram needs to step it up. Fire those Indian devs and hire some roof Koreans. IYKYK. :-)

Yesterday, she got home from the store and saw her keys on the counter and asked me how she was able to start her car and drive to the store and back without her keys. LOL.

Do the 26s limiteds have some sort of screen where the glove box is?
