I am new to this forum and this is my first post. Bought this 3500 to haul a 5th wheel. Have had numerous warning light and starting problems. First day I had the vehicle the bluetooth worked intermittently. Had it looked at in the Ram Service Department and they found nothing. Within 3 weeks the remote start did not work. Had to get in the truck to start it. Then the door locks would work one day and not the next. Then the truck would not start. Had to jump it. At 1300 miles the ABS Warning Light came on with numerous other warning lights including the service engine light. Took it in a second time. They replaced the battery and said the wheel sensors were bad and were being ordered. It will take 3-4 weeks to get them in. I was told the truck was ok to drive. Left that day and saw the odometer was flashing on and off. Turned around and took back in. Was told it was a 15-20 minute fix. Technician worked on it for over an hour and couldn't fix it. Was told it was still ok to drive. Next day when I tried to engage the cruise control another warning light came on requiring cruise control to be serviced soon. The lane assist feature was also not working now. Today without warning the tire pressure light came on showing all four back tires were at 65 psi. This is my first diesel and first Ram. The dealership is not doing anything now. Any suggestions as to who I can contact from Ram to get help. My concern is something serious will happen while I'm on the road. Thank you

Welcome to the forum. Have you or the techs at the shop pushed your fuses/relays in? They are most of the time only half way pushed into their slots in the fuse block.

The issues I've had are with the key fob. Twice in 2 months the fob would not respond until I pulled the door handle. Then it would recognize the fob and unlock. Everything is normal after this. Most recently I was showing off the tailgate release with the fob and nothing would happen. Grabbed the door handle and it was fine.

I pushed all the fuses in under the hood but that hasn't helped. I saw that was an issue with other Ram Owners a few weeks ago and tried it. This seems to be more of a wiring issue. Forgot to mention that while I was having a tire rep put air in my tires the hazard lights started blinking. It lasted about 20 seconds. This picture shows incorrect readings immediately after the rep put the correct air pressure in each tire. Now while driving I am hearing 3 ding sounds in rapid succession for no apparent reason . Very unnerving to get behind the wheel and not know what is going to happen next. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have had similar issues when I first purchased my ‘25. They replaced the rf module and did an update. FYI same rf module controls the door entry, push button start and also controls tpms. Been flawless since.

Can’t help with the other issues, but I believe this one is a feature rather than an issue. I’m assuming you have factory navigation. The three dings is warning that the intersection you are approaching has a red light camera.

I will have the rf module checked out. Appreciate your help. Thank you.

Not sure the 3 dings are happening near an intersection but will see if the dings occur next time I am near a red light camera intersection. Thank you

The truck has a feature called “tire fill assist”. It monitors the pressure while filling the tires. It’ll honk the horn when it gets to 80 psi so you don’t overfill. It’s assuming you don’t have a hand held pressure gauge. You can turn the assist off in the center radio display. However you can’t set when it honks/flashes because the universal safety parameter is 80 psi.

Thanks for the information. It is very sad that I am learning more here in the Ram Forum than I am from the dealer and service department.

Sadly that realization is industry wide. You almost have to have the answer going into it before they'll even look at the problem.

Dealer employees aren't "car people". When I worked at one (25 years ago), there was an mechanic that always told me "cars are just a source of revenue". I didn't understand at the time, but I finally figured it out. During a VW purchase my wife would grab my hand and tell me "stop telling the sales guy his job". My response is always "I know these cars better than they do". And its not because I claim to be an expert, but I usually study what I plan to purchase months in advance. It took me a week (on and off) to play with all the options in the 12" screen and the dash. I was surprised by all the knowledge my sales person had on this newest truck. I guess she's been selling Ram's for 20 years or something. Got me set up enough that I didn't need to adjust anything on the 1 hour drive home. The people on these forums usually have more knowledge than any dealer I've worked/talked with. So glad they exist. I just wish there was 1 forum per model. Just imagine if we had all the Ram forums tied to 1 site. That would be great collection of knowledge. I don't have the focus to join them all, that's for sure.

From my experience the TPMS warning goes off when pressure goes under about 20% of recommended. So rear duals require 65 and shouldn't give an error until around 53 or so. BUT...once the warning goes off, you have to inflate back up to recommended pressure to get the warning to turn off (after you drive a couple minutes as the system doesn't read accurately until the wheels turn).

I found all this out when I wanted to lower the dual pressure to improve empty ride comfort! At this point, I just keep the duals at around 50lbs and deal with the warning at every startup and press OK. It forces me to take a look at the actual pressure at least a couple times a day. The tire loading chart says 50lbs is more than enough for lightly loaded truck.

I'm hoping that JScan or AlfaOBD get some updates for the 2025+ trucks soon. I've read they don't have all same functionality as the '19~'24 trucks do. Then maybe we'll be able to adjust that tire warning.

That is also what I found....currently no way to adjust the 2025+ PSI warning. At least yet.

Had this same issue on my new 2022 model. The display kept showing inaccurate tire pressure information. Even when I inflated my tires and checked with a hand held gauge the TPMS always showed something different. Dealer would fill the tires to the recommended amounts and within a few miles of driving the truck the problem returned. After 3 oil changes and tire rotations I filed a report with RAM CARES regarding the malfunctioning TPMS. RAM refused to allow repairs under warranty because even though I only has 29,000 miles on the truck I was over the 36 month portion. I spoke with the Service Manager regarding the problem has existed since I took delivery of the vehicle, He stated unfortunately RAM could care less. We discussed this issue in detail because this was the dealership where I always got an oil change. The Service Manager suggested I allow him a moment to check the tire pressures. He came back stating when the tires were rotated front to rear, his mechanic wasn't reprogramming the system to adjust for the change. Since the Front Tires were now in the Rear Tire position they were already under the manufactures recommendation of 65psi as soon as I departed the dealership. I've now put an additional 5K miles without a problem with the TPMS. MAKE SURE THE DEALER WHERE YOU GET YOUR TIRES ROTATED WITH AN OIL CHANGE REPROGRAMS THE POSITION OF THE TIRES ONCE ROTATED.
