2025 vs 2026s

Quite a few 2025s still on the lots...looking at a 3500/dually. Outside of the warranty difference, any other noticeable differences between a 2025 and a 2026? Saw several random issues on the 2025s in the spring/early summer - how are the 2025s holding up since?

I think the trucks are identical, other than the warranty difference you mentioned. We have a new recall on our trucks and I am having a gremlin showing on mine with the TPMS and phantom warnings. Someone here suggested a simple solution for this, but will require a visit to the dealer .

Based on everything I have read and watched from owners of these vehicles, may be best to wait until 2027. The 2026 are having issues as well as the 2025. I am going to wait it out since I am in no rush at the moment.

My only pause for waiting would be to work out new Diesel emissions gremlins. Otherwise, the 6.4 wont be getting any better, and everything else is pretty dialed in. But Diesel emissions are something to watch as they changed a lot, and while they got rid of the nut driving behind the wheel of the grid heater.....

If you wait for the day you can buy a truck with no issues you may as well give it up . Every model year has issues . Mine a 2020 fuel pump , 22 trannies and the years and issues roll on . My 20 has been a great truck, others with the same model may have ended up with the truck from hell ! Don’t spend all your time focusing on the negatives just buy it with the attitude you bought a great truck .

just seeing if there is any "reason" to possibly buy a 26 over a 25.

have a 2022 dually with the 68RFE in it. knock on wood no issues at 75k and most of that is hooked to a horse trailer. if I could buy a decently equipped bighorn for close to $60k I'd probably trade out of the '22 (with some of the "extra" rebates out there you can get close). a 2026 is going to be $67-68k or even higher

Depreciation is about the only thing , besides warranty, that would be different, and you should be able to get a decent discount to offset some or all of it

those C&C trailers are like most things, they don't make 'em like they used to. story I heard years ago was that they paid out too much in endorsements early on and never was able to recover...may not be close to what happened but those are on par with the old elite, 4star, platinum trailers - nice rig.

those C&C trailers are like most things, they don't make 'em like they used to. story I heard years ago was that they paid out too much in endorsements early on and never was able to recover...may not be close to what happened but those are on par with the old elite, 4star, platinum trailers - nice rig.

Engineer and one other from 4 Star left and created C&C. They were sued by 4 Star for numerous patent infringements. They had recently moved to a much bigger facility, coupled with the residential crash of '07/08 and they just decided it would be better to close shop instead of pay out 4 Star and try and recoup their losses. I believe something similar happened with Elite but they were able to forge through and stay in biz.

have a 2025 dually bought mid December......

lots of issues......have an open case number and case manager with stellantis and it is complete nightmare communicating sending pictures and videos of what is going on. Its been happening since I bought it in December.

electrical problems from the truck not going into gear or unable to turn off (pull fuse 33) dealerships cant find it because they fail to actually take it for a 2-3 hour trip
use of turn indicators and emergency flashes sound off through the front driver side speaker randomly

appears that the drivers seat is used as the wear gaps on the seat and back rest. looks like it has been driven like my traded in 2020 longhorn with a 150,000 miles
the bottom attachment rails are rusted....serious!
