2025 RAM HD Builds and Orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

One of the BEST things about the Cummins is the 15,000 mile service interval. 15/30/45/60/75/90................I find this very slightly more complicated. I do 15,000 from day one unless I am going to be on a trip that will take me, like, 1000 miles over. Or just have a dealer do it on your trip. I have.

I’m OCD and it’s easier to keep track of for me. I’d rather be overkill than possibly regret it later. Trading in my 2022 6.4 for the 6.7 in hopes of not getting another for several years. I changed the oil in the 6.4 on a 5000 mil schedule also.
Well as you probably know its a more expensive oil change on the diesel. Do you also plan to change the water separator and water filter each oil change?

Yes, I’m aware that it will be more expensive because it takes more oil. But I only put about 800 miles on my truck a month. I have a Jeep and a take-home car, and my wife’s car that I drive more often. I plan on doing the fuel filters every 10,000.

I ordered a new Big Horn, crew cab, short bed, 4X4, Granite Crystal, 6.4 Hemi. It will have the Big Horn Level 2 Plus package, Aux switches, Security alarm, 4.10 axles, dual alternators, and rear wheelhouse liners. I ordered the truck on 3/25 and I am shocked. The status as of 3/27 is D1 with a scheduled ship date of 4/9. The truck has to ship all the way to Vermont so it will be several months before I see it.

The builds are happening fast. Shipping is a whole other story. Mine has been KZLD for a bit now

I do about the same mileage. I change mine once a year. All at the same time

I currently have a Laramie and was going to order another one. Mine has Heated/Vented seats. When I noticed the 25 did not have that option(along with a few other things) Ram boxes etc, I elected to go with the limited. I'm glad I looked closely at everything before ordering to make sure I was not disappointed with it missing something like that when it arrived. I also read a review concerning the engine brake. In the review it said it appears to not work the same way do to the 3:42 rear end. Does that make sense? Let us know how it goes after you tow your load with it

Heated seats are standard on the Laramie. Ventilated seats come with the Level 1 Plus, Level 2, or Level 2 Plus equipment groups.

Well, yea, if you hit 12 months before mileage then change the oil. Technically you need to follow the maintenance schedule to maintain warranty and it's 15K or 12 months (less mileage if severe duty).

Changing the fuel filters every other oil change is smart. They actually improve with age.

But that's a discussion best suited for one of the many threads here in the diesel sub specific to maintenance oil/fuel, etc...

Anyone know if any chassis cabs have been built yet. My 4500 was ordered in January then went to scheduled for production on 2-27 and nothing has updated since.

I looked at the digital brochure and must have missed it(vented seats) I knew heated seats are standard equipment. I didn't see vented seats on any of the packages. Are Ram boxes offered yet? I didn't see those either. I ended up ordering a Limited anyway. For the money difference I thought it was worth the extra things that come with it

My 25 3500 Limited Longhorn is literally 3 miles sitting at the rail yard waiting for a 3 mile ride to the dealer since 3/24.

My Laramie L2 Night CC DRW just arrived. Nice looking truck.

Just to recap the journey 2/12/2025 - 3/27/2025

I'll stop by again for any final comments on the process and who I did business with. Thanks to everyone for keeping my occupied with this thread - it made the time go by a c

My 3500 Laramie has been sitting in Mexico since 2/25. Dealer has no clue why and the stellantis support line is useless.

What’s your est delivery date? Has it passed or could they be stalling waiting for that date? I wonder because mine arrived Thursday to the final train yard but my est delivery isn’t until April 14th…

Atleast I'm not the only one. Laramie mega cab ordered in November. Online tracker says built for a long time with delivery date changing every time it gets close. Dealer says all they see is TBD on everything

My delivery date is 4/8 per tracker. And it's only 3 miles from dealer.

Mine came in yesterday. Went to pick it up today and the aux switches which I ordered and showed up on the window sticker are missing! Very frustrating
Oh no. I ordered the aux switches as well. Everything I ordered is on window sticker. Also my options show up on Mopar site under vehicle equipment.

Are they listed on Mopar vehicle equipment?

Still waiting on mine.
