Welcome to the Ram build/production process! These issues remind me of the shenanigans that went on when I ordered my '22. Trucks getting built and buried on a lot never to be seen again for weeks, newer orders getting built and shipped before older orders, etc.I emailed my dealer last night and asked him to contact the regional rep to get more info.
Mines been on order since 12-09-2024 and I am seeing builds much later being on rail to its formal destruction.
Truck has arrived at dealership. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to pick it up until next Monday, but I will give an update Monday evening.Thought I’d just put my details in here for those interested in tracking. Ordered 2025 Ram 2500 Laramie Crew 4x4 on Dec 13, scheduled Dec 19, in production Jan 17, Built Feb 23, prepped for shipping and shipping listed TBD. My original delivery date was March 29, then went to TBD, and today shows March 13th and finally today the window sticker showed up.
Hope this helps with some of the waiting anxiety for some of you!
Also, I checked, my dealership has ONLY the one that I ordered. Nothing else has shown up.Truck has arrived at dealership. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to pick it up until next Monday, but I will give an update Monday evening.
Did it ever go to “shipped” status?Truck has arrived at dealership. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to pick it up until next Monday, but I will give an update Monday evening.
Yes, less than a week ago. That’s when the delivery date went from the 13th to the 10th, but then suddenly it went to TBD for about three days, then it was at the dealershipDid it ever go to “shipped” status?
But the entire red timeline banner was completed less than a week ago. And I received an email saying it had shipped—but that was in a follow up to an FCA customer care request, not the dealership or the automatic tracker.Yes, less than a week ago. What region are you in? Are you close to the border where shipping wouldn’t take very long? But the entire red timeline banner was completed less than a week ago. I’m in Ohio and it had to go to, I believe Tennessee by rail and then ground transport to Southern Ohio areaWhat region are you in? Are you close to the border where shipping wouldn’t take very long?
Thanks! I’m in Indiana, but has been KZLD (awaiting being loaded on a train) since 2/26. Tracker says vehicle built and that is it. The forum member who has access to the system said that I haven’t been assigned to a train yet.I’m in Ohio and it had to go to, I believe Tennessee by rail and then ground transport to Southern Ohio area
My experience is The dealer system, nor the tracker really keeps up with what is happening. Every time I query the dealer on where the truck was or what was happening. It was inevitably incorrect. Every time the tracker told me something. It was at least three days or so behind. Even right now the tracker says TBD Instead of delivered. Thanks! Yeah, i would agree. I'm in Indiana as well....just spoke with my dealer who was shocked to see it had shipped, as his system still showed it scheduled a few days ago. He looked it up, and mine should be in Nashville on or around the 27th...ETA to him on 4/3 at the earliest. Even he acknowledged that the system is probably best used as a "Best Guess" tool....not something to swear by.My experience is The dealer system, nor the tracker really keeps up with what is happening. I ordered the exact truck but an 8 foot bed. Make sure you get us some pics, congratulations! But the entire red timeline banner was completed less than a week ago. it was quite different over 3 years ago when I ordered a RAM 1500 and it was built in Sterling Heights. The amount of info on the build and delivery were just stellar! I think the problem is more one of infrastructure support at the Mexican site and the customer comms are just not a priority. Still, my build in total from order to delivery was just under 90 days. Good luck to allYeah, i would agree. I'm in Indiana as well....just spoke with my dealer who was shocked to see it had shipped, as his system still showed it scheduled a few days ago.
