I went to my RAM dealer and they began configuring my build. The exterior colors were limited but the options were even more limiting. I will be using the truck to tow and need the option to delete the rambox. Not possible now. I also need the air suspension, also not available yet. Does anyone have a guess when things will open up a bit more?

You can get the air suspension if you order the diesel, max tow package and dual rear wheels. It is included in the Max Tow Package and you must have the dual rear wheels.

Ram is really blowing it on some of this. Some bean counter is disenfranchising a lot of buyers. I want a Big Horn and MegaCab. Can't get any more. I want air suspension like you, but I do NOT want a dually. So frustrating. I have NO INTEREST in painted bumpers. Guess what? They made them STANDARD. Now you have to pay extra for chrome. The thing is, the person ordering the truck is too lazy to check that box. So many otherwise perfect trucks for me sitting on the dealership lot do not have chrome bumpers. Double frustrating.....

Hopefully they will add more configurations once these start to roll out, IIRC, there were some option configurations that were messed up when the 2019's were first announced.

Update: Now if you select the fifth wheel prep the ordering software auto deletes the Rambox! If they make the air suspension available without getting a dually, I'll order immediately.

Fifth wheel prep always canceled RamBox, the bed rails are too narrow to allow for turning radius. There are other ways (sidewinder by Reese) but not for oem. The bed still had(and likely still) the provisions for DIY prep.

Today was the official launch on the RAM website. I can now add the air suspension on the SRW 3500 limited. The problem is that the dealers ordering software does not match the website so they STILL can only get the air with the dually. Ironically, on the website you can't even configure for a dually limited. Hopefully things will settle down this week as the people behind the curtains begin to talk to each other so that the site configurations match the dealer ordering.

I ended up buying a 24 Dually from Mark Dodge. I am pretty sure Ram is just rolling out the options as they are ramping up Production. I am going to wait for everything to play out and then if I have to have a 25 I will trade this one in. Likely will wait a year or two and get a 26 or 27. I am on a trip now and like this truck a lot.

I will probably catch hell for this, but until they start to offer better colors more interior options there is not a new Ram in my future.

I am mostly unimpressed with the "updates" to the 25's. Like you, I'm super happy with my 24 and if it continues to serve me well, I plan to hang onto it for several years. I don't think I'll be back in the truck market until either this truck starts giving me fits, the powertrain warranty runs out, or until Ram comes out with an all-new truck that I just HAVE to have. I still think the 19-24 trucks are the most handsome Rams yet, and the interior is excellent. Gobs of power and will do everything I ask of it.

Oh yeah.... and my bumpers are chrome. LOL

My dealer said they could only order night edition and a white black or granite. I don’t want any of those three…. I wonder how long it’s going to take them to start allowing orders for the other colors..

I’m old school, I love the chrome nose. Plus, chrome holds up better than paint when dealing with love bug season.
I couldn't wait any longer for more options to open up. I ordered my 2025 yesterday and decided to do an after market rear air suspension and larger fuel tank. Hoping that the dealer claim of 4 to 6 month wait time is wildly inaccurate.

For grins and giggles I built a 2025 Limited Longhorn. I went with white because it is the only color that would go with the brown interior only out of the 4 color choices available in the Longhorn. I chose the 5th wheel prep because it seems to be the only way to get rid of the IMO stupid Rambox. When I chose that option it made 3 changes one of the changes was a vendor painted cargo box. I assume that means the normal pickup box they install is painted by an outside vendor and transported to the assembly plant. Am I right or wrong. If right, that may explain the only 4 color choices for the Longhorn. Even then IMO white is the only color that would be easily painted in two different locations and match. I would be willing to bet the other three colors in the sun would show a variation from the box to the cab.

Same here. The rambox isn't compatible with a lot of toppers, slide in campers, etc. It also adds quite a bit of weight, which takes away the less than stellar payload ratings already.l I just don't understand Ram's insistence to force this on us. I'm also curious how this paint matching will go.

I'm not sure what exactly entails the vendor painted box, but it's nothing new, here it is on my '22 equipment listing

Nexen Brand tires?

Those must be the Roadian ATX. I would have been happy sticking with those tires on our 2024 Ram 3500 4x4 and saved $1,000 of additional tire costs. Three days after our purchase last Fall in Western Colorado we were in Minnesota with it and I made an appointment with Discount Tire. Traded in the Firestone Transforce HT for $600 for Toyo C/T's costing $1,600. We needed 3PMSF winter traction rated tires for our towing back home over the Rockies. Our 2016 Ram 2500 4x4 Power Wagon came with the Goodyear Duratracs. Stuck with those tires too due to they worked in snow. No way was I going to tow back home in snow with a highway tread tire. In the Snow Belt the Ram 4x4 trucks should come equipped with tires that actually grip the road.
