Hi guys.

I got a 2025 RAM 2500 Big Horn. Since the moment i press the button to start the truck i heard a bunch of "grinding" noise like those little electric motor moving, in the passenger side, coming out like behind of the glove box compartment (not too sure is it is from there), and i can hear the same noise once im driving so often.

Any idea what could it be? It is normal?

Somebody has the same issue/noise on their truck either 2025 or older?

Thanks in advance

Normal, it does it on all the 4th/5th gen ram trucks. It's calibrating and moving the blend doors for the HVAC system

AWESOME!! What a relief. I thought something was wrong with it and was getting worried about it. Thanks for the clarification.

I have a ‘23 and my blend doors make zero noise. Everyone’s perception of a noise is different but to me a “grinding” noise suggests there is a problem. You have a brand new truck, take it back to the dealership and let them listen to it. If anything you have the concern documented if there are any problems in the future. Congratulations on the new truck.

Thanks for the reply Units. To be honest, it sounds like what MtnRider described. But you are right, it doesn't do any harm to take to the dealer to take a look at that and it gets documented just in case. I'll do that.

I didnt really mean to describe the noise like "grinding", hence i put then between "". I wasn't sure what would be the right word to describe the noise. Half of the time when driving, i dont have the radio on, or music, or talking on the phone, i mean, everything is off and quite, that would be the reason why i noticed it more than others that noise coming from that area, but again, i will do that, i like the idea to make them document EVERYTHING, just in case.

Thanks again guys
