For now the second time in about as many weeks, we had an issue with our sunroof being open after a rainstorm. The first time it happened we chalked it up to us screwing up and leaving it open. Things were wet inside but they eventually dried with no issues. Last night, we had a huge thunderstorm and it rained almost all night. This morning we opened the truck and the sunroof was opened and water everywhere!
I know for a fact that the sunroof was not left opened as we have not used it in a while and the truck had been parked for a couple days. I also notice that I can open and close the sunroof without the key fob being anywhere near the truck. Is this normal? None of the windows or anything else works without the key fob being near the vehicle and the truck at least being in ACC but the sunroof can operate regardless. This doesn’t seem right and now I’m thinking we didn’t leave it open that first time. I think it is somehow opening on its own.
