The 50 gallon tank has been available for several years for crew cab long beds. It doesn’t fit on anything else.

It also can’t be retrofitted if the truck wasn’t built with it.

Aftermarket is the only option for a larger tank.

If you go to the website and build & price a 2023 RAM 2500 cclb, there is no option for 50 gallon tank. The option is there for 2023 RAM 3500 cclb. That is why I was wondering if something changed for 2024 RAM 2500's. Also, can't build & price the 2024's yet...

It was an option for the 2023 CCLB 2500. The build & price is rarely accurate.

The 50 gallon fuel tank was only an option on the tradesman level. Big Horn and up on the 2023 2500's could not be ordered with that option.

Power Wagon = No 8 foot bed
No 8 foot bed = No 50 gallon tank

So this could be an exciting change. (Agreed, my definition of exciting may be messed up) but maybe you get my point anyway.
