Ram is now ordering 2024 Ram Trucks. Please find attached order guides for Specs.

As always, we are ordering at 4% Under invoice on a 2024 Ram Truck order. Please email [email protected] if you are interested in placing an order.

Chrome Bumpers are back on the 3500 Longhorn and Limited models.

Order guides do not cover standard equipment, so I have no idea if the wood steering wheel that was standard for years is back also…. Anyone have a contact where we can find out that bit of data?

It looks like the wood steering wheel is back based on this option list.

Can you post the 1500 Limited and Laramie order guides? Thank you
This is the HD ram forum so it wont be posted here. Im sure you can find it on the 5th gen rams site.

I have been reading this site for a few years. Currently have a 2012 2500 Megacab Hemi, with 100K miles. (Had an 06 Mega Hemi before that) Was going to buy a new one last year, but Ram decided NOT to put a Hemi in the upper end 2500 Mega trim lines, and now again this year. I am considering all my options, and this is the only place on the internet that the ordering guides were posted that I could find. I appreciate the info that is here. Zach send me the 1500 order guides. I dont tow much, so I may give up the Mega cab for this go round. I cant justify the "extra" 10K on a diesel.

New member here, very first message. :)
I'll second what buyhold said, thanks for posting these.

A couple of questions:
How applicable are the codes you provided to the 2500? Do these codes pretty much carry over from year to year?

If you posted the equvelent sheets for the 2024 2500 could you reply with a link to the thread??? The search field isn't finding it.

I'm in the process of working out a config for a 2024 2500 on the ramtrucks.com site using the 2023 build "tool". So far I got the following and I was looking for something that had what all the codes were. A Duck Duck Go search lead me to this site and your post. :)
Code:
https://www.ramtrucks.com/bmo.ram_2500.html#/build/powertrain/63135/CUT202314DJ7H91E/2TZ/APA,PPX,X8,ETL,DG7,DME,DSA,Z7F,TCP,WBE,MJ,MWH,A62,ARC,AHU,JKV,LHL,BAJ,RC3,XAN,XBM,LSA,LNC,LNJ,XEA,GFA,UBD,2HZ

Thanks all, Stan

Scroll up a few posts and grab the "2024 HD Ram.pdf" file, it contains every one of those codes for the 2500 Crew Cab (or grab the "Mega" file if you're looking for the Mega Cab).

Arron, thanks for your reply.
I feel like an idiot
I could swear I looked at the first page of each document attached (I downloaded all four). I missed the snake and it bit me. :)
I guess I need to clean my glasses or stop multitasking, I was working at the time.
Great way to introduce myself :D

I'm looking at the guide and it doesn't look like you can order the Rambox on the Megacab Laramie trim, but you can on the Longhorn and limited.
Can anyone confirm if this is accurate?

Zach, it may only be a difference in terminology but is the "Factory Wholesale Price" as shown in the "Customer Preferred Code Guide" the same as the "invoice price"??? If they're two different things, what's the difference. Thinking of your offer of 4% under invoice. If they 're different then I think it would be a good thing to mention here.

I'm finalizing a truck config and I'm close to pulling the trigger here local to me. They are offering me 1% below invoice. The only issue is, I'm 350 miles from your dealership. However, for 4% below it may be worth the trip and most likely a hotel stay. Any other info I can use the email you provided.

I live in WA and am considering ordering from Granger despite them being in IA. Believe it or not, there would be big savings for me even with 1,500 mile drive home as my local dealers don't really want to discuss anything below MSRP. Would turn it into a roadtrip for the family. You are lucky you have a dealer near willing to go to invoice int he first place.

Republic Blue appears to be a new for 2024 color (low production). Anyone have any pictures of what that looks like?

edit: preferably a picture that is not from Ram's website builder which is now shown on MY2023. Just hoping for real life picture even if older model or if was on another FCA vehicle, perhaps with different name.

I live in WA also and bought my 2022 2500 from Mark Dodge back in Feb, 2022. MD offered 12% below MSRP. After paying for an airline ticket, 10 days in a motel (did a little sight seeing on the way back) and a 3,000 mile drive back home (fuel was ~$750), plus paying for the $5,000 in county taxes, I still came out ahead ~$1,500. Well worth the effort.

Seen a video on YouTube by JBReviews, and he had a 2024 Limited on the lot he reviewed. Didn’t have the wood on the steering wheel……bummer. Did that large wood part of the wheel heat up when you turned the steering wheel heater on?
I guess when they say wood on 2024 wheel they mean the little accent pieces.
On all my previous Longhorns the entire steering wheel heated up including the wood from 10-2 o’clock.
