Hey guys, I just bought a brand new 2024 ram 2500. Absolutely love it. I have had a lot of bad luck this year with trucks, no need to get to much into that but I was under the truck today just checking on stuff ( yeah i get paranoid sometimes) and I put my hand on the transfer case where the rear drive shaft goes into it and I am able to move the T-Case and see it flexing on the rubber mounts. Is that normal? Kinda freaked me out but any input from you guys would be great. Assuming it’s normal?

Yea it has some movement due to the rubber mounts of that and the engine but should not be much

It has to be able to move with the engine and transmission.

Whether or not yours has excessive movement is impossible to tell from the information provided.

Hmm, I can take my hand and push up on it and it moves. I guess I can try and get a video for you guys here in a few. I have to really try to get it to move but it will definitely move once i use some force

Is it tight to the trans?

I just checked mine, also a 2024 and no movement other that a light flex of the rubber mounts.
