2024 Order Tracking & Discussion

B
I'm on my way home now, everything has been great, and I'm currently having fun trying to break the 20mpg barrier on my drive home. This thing rides like my f150, I don't know why HD trucks have a bad rep, unless I'm just spoiled by the air suspension lol. Oh and I aired the rears down to 60psi.

Nothing but outstanding service and honesty from Rob at Tuttle Click (Irvine). Great guy and fun to shoot the **** with.

Oh and I finally picked up my his and hers ebikes on the way home from my friend at Trek in Santa Clarita.
Sweet! Pearl white I assume?

Yes sir. Made it home with 19.9mpg average, I'm a failure

Did anyone here order the "trailer surround view camera system" option XN1? It is uuuhhhh... not what I thought it was. I thought that option gave you the ability to see the trailer reverse and 2 side mirrors, in the digital rear view mirror. It turns out, it is FOUR WIRED CAMERAS that you need to mount, plus a junction box! I mean, the view would be sick as fudge, but I do not want to route and mount 4 cameras. I am good with just routing the one reverse view trailer camera.

I know when ordering my truck, I was confused as well about the different camera options for trailers. It would be nice to be able to have clearer understanding and better explanation of what each package is providing.

Absolutely! This was $1k and I don't believe I will use it. I thought it was to upgrade the module under the driver seat and wire the Coax to the bumper (or bed if 5th wheel prep). I just wanted the drvm and rear trailer wired cam.

Another 10/10 experience with Mark Dodge. Highly recommended. Picked her up Friday.
Thanks to all the active members here, I’ve been following these order tracking threads for years. Made me feel like a pro during the entire order process. Only surprise was how fast it arrived. Best of luck to those still waiting.

My delivery timeline. Estimated date of delivery: May 2nd, then it was May 6th, then it was May 19th, and now it's become TBD. My truck is still stuck in the BNSF rail yard in Phoenix with no car carrier to bring it to Las Vegas. Dealer said maybe the end of this week, and they emphasized "maybe" with a sprinkle of hope for seasoning. For now, I'll just keep driving my 2nd gen Ram 2500. It gets more looks anyway. Lol.

I put a deposit down on a 2024 Olive Green Power Wagon that was ordered by a dealer and when I contact the dealer for updates on a bi-weekly basis they tell me I expect too many updates and that it's not Fedex or UPS where you can get updates on a daily basis. I did finally email them this week and they told me the truck made it to the port in Altamira, Mexico on April 29 and that's all the information that they would give me. I don't know when it's getting on the ship, where it's going once it gets on the ship, when the dealer is expecting it, etc.

I ordered mine on February 19 and on March 25. It was on a boat from Port Altamira Mexico on its way to Port Davisville, Rhode Island. From there, it went on a car carrier down to Long Island and I took delivery on April 3rd.

From what the dealer has told me, they ordered this vehicle in February and it went to the port on April 29. I don't know whether to assume it went on the boat that day or it's still sitting at the port. They don't like me bothering them for updates. I guess I'll just have to wait to hear from them. Hopefully Ram will offer some incentives for when it does come in.

@brv10 is a great member in this group who has inside knowledge about tracking. Ask him to give you a status. Include your VIN or Order number.

I found this forum a couple of days ago
I ordered April 18. Today I can see it was built yesterday. Based on comments I have seen through out the forum, I was surprised it was built in 1 day. Now it is just a wait to see when it ships,2024 Ram.jpg

Invoice plus $1,000. I hadn't done any looking at what folks were getting. I could have done 2500 or 3000 better for one on their lot, just didn't have anything close enough for what I wanted.

Oh damn dude. Mark Dodge is doing 16% off MSRP at the moment. I got 95k MSRP for 82k through Koons. I would reorder and save yourself some money. Unless you're in a rush and don't mind spending an extra 10k after shipping costs.

I think they updated MSRP's with a big drop sometime in the last couple of months, which I was working of the new prices, I'm a bit below your net, but hard to tell what that means with the different options etc. Im ok with my deal.
