2024 MY HD Pricing Update

Actually a great explanation and I appreciate you explaining it to me like I were a five year old because i basically am.
LOL no not at all man - it IS confusing, and on top of that people will often say "my dealer said X" but they could be talking to the guy that mops the floors, or even if a sales manager someone who does not deal that much with out of state purchases.
So if I have an opportunity to answer the question AND have it be useful to other people who may be in a slightly different situation, why not. It all pays the same lol.

No you can only you ONE tdm (targeted direct mailer) type coupon per transaction.
So the website popup, truecar, postcard in your actual mailbox, etc - you just want the highest value one to use.

New here as I am researching the purchase of a 2024 RAM 2500 Rebel, I have noticed a thing or two that is interesting and hoping I can get an understanding before I try to negotiate or even look at the truck I am interested in.
When I went on the RAM website, went to the Build and Price for both the 2024 and the 2025 MY to see the difference in possible price between the two with similar as possible builds, the 2024 models came up significantly than what the MSRP/Sticker is for the specific vehicle I am looking at, which also shows a significant difference between the 2024 and 2025. Wondering if this is a tactic to sell off remaining 2024's when it shows a over 10k difference between to two years. The net price for the build and price of a 2024 Rebel built identical to the one on a dealer's lot is $76,230 prior to any incentive compared to the MSRP sticker for one on dealer's lot is $88,670, a huge disparity and confusing, they are offering the Truck for sale with a "discount" for $75,565, just slightly lower than the "build" price. Is the dealer really giving that amount off from the sticker or is it actually RAM giving the bigger discount in lowering the price of the vehicle?

At first glance

2024 Base $68225, 2025 is $70,640 = $2415 diff
2024 Diesel $9795, 2025 is all HO at $12595 = $2800 diff
2024 has $2500 in rebates, 2025 has $1000 = $1500 diff
So just in those three items $6700 price gap

Post the VIN of the '24 and the summary of your build showing options and it'll be easier.
Doesn't look like "tactic" at this point, other than rebate which yes the prior model year should always have higher rebate
