Hello, so I'm new to this community and looked around the threads but couldn't find anything related to the new 2024 mega cab. I just bought a 2024 ram 2500 mega cab with rear air suspension. The truck did not come with running boards. I called the dealer and they said they do not make power running boards for this year yet. I was looking at the amo research boards and it says the air tank needs to be relocated. But nothing sold for the 2024 year. Anyone know if the prior year relocation brackets will work for the 2024? Or any power step brands that sell a kit for this vehicle ? Thank you in advance.

I have a 2024 crew cab. I checked with AMP to make sure nothing changed and the steps and air tank relocation bracket that work with previous years still work for 2024. They confirmed that they do. I just ordered everything yesterday so I haven't installed them yet but AMP said it would work.

I am working on getting amps for my 2024 ram With air rides Let me know how it goes.

I did notice that the crew cab worked with previous models but the mega cab did not. I'm going to try and reach out to amp research.

So amp researched confirmed that the relocation brackets do not work with the 2024 mega cab. That they're working on getting them out on the market. Guess I'll have to wait it out. Thanks again

I installed the AMP steps yesterday. Everything went fine. I had to cut off a threaded stud that was sticking through the floor of the truck in order to relocate the air tank but the instructions said that you might have to. I have not installed the upper rivets in the brackets yet because I don't have a right-angle drill and I can't get a normal one into that space. I'm not convinced those rivets are necessary though when I think about how the leverage is on the brackets. I'll probably install them when I get the right drill though. I also didn't install the lights because when I applied power to one of them, they looked purple, and I want to see if I can find some that have a whiter color.

I know this is an older thread but do you remember which bracket you used?

I know this is an older thread but do you remember which aftermarket brackets are not even needed. The driver side steps fit perfect. The passenger side with the air tank. Just loosen the bolts on the air tank bracket and lift the air tank as high as possible. Drill a new hole and put your bolts back in. If I remember correctly it was only the bottom of the bracket that needed a new hole. That will give you the clearance you need for the steps. I've had mine on for almost a year with no issues.
