Hello all,
Just purchased a 2024 3500 Laramie mega cab dually. Unfortunately it came without running boards and so I'm looking to add them. I noticed that many boards and step bars come with brackets that are not permanently attached to the boards/ bars. The brackets get bolted on and so there is flexibility with the alignment of the factory bot holes on the back of the rocker panel. Of course I have to make things more difficult and look at bars that have the brackets already welded to the bars. Therefor exact match up is critical. Normally still not a problem as fitment information is typically available. However, many products are still listed as not fitting 2024 models even though they do or may. And one product I'm looking at says it fits a 2009 to 2021 mega cab. The product is discontinued and so I'm not sure if that's the reason the listing wasn't updated past 2021, or if there was a change to the truck in 2021. Can anyone confirm the 2024 factory bolt holes ( or anything else important) is still in the exact same locations as the 2009 to 2021 mega cabs? I'm 100% against drilling new holes in that rust prone area.
