2023 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

I’d assume that puts you back to the end of the line with a new order? Or is it just a chance to the existing order? However, I don’t think they go in order of first come first serve anyway!

I’d say get the truck you want. If it takes longer up front, youll be happier in the end!
I’ve been renting a car monthly since Sept as mine was totaled. Was led to believe that I’d have the 2023 by early Dec. Unfortunately, ordering and production was delayed and delayed and delayed again. At this rate may not get my vehicle until March. May try to find 2022. Can’t keep renting every month.

@brv10 any possible updates for 3C63R3PL1PG510438 ? I seem to be stuck in scheduling purgatory but the dealer told me it was supposed to be built on 12/9. Appreciate any nuggets of wisdom!

Same boat here. Went D1 back on 11/21 and dealer is saying it should be delivered in January which seems insane given the D1 status and 2022/ 2023 order threads in here. @brv10 any possible updates for mine too? VIN 3C6TR5EJ8PG509638. Thanks in advance!

My order just updated to scheduled on the tracker and finally added my Vin number it only took three months

Is it possible to order the night edition without the non functioning hood scoop and and side vents?
Order it with that hood and I'll swap it with my plain hood :)

Mine is granite crystal metallic.

My 3500 Laramie Crew Long DRW is in D1. I requested the build sheet from my dealer and found that RAM removed without notification:

ANT - Bed Utility Group
AAN - Towing Tech Group
A67 - Laramie Level 2

The dealer is asking HQ what is up with my build. If you are in D1, I highly recommend getting your build sheet your dealer and verify all of your options are present.

Oh man. Im nervous now. Is the “build sheet” the sheet you recived when ordered, or something more specific?

Edit: dealer shared the POC and I still have safety, bed utility and towing tech in there

Ordered on Oct 11, and finally got my VIN! I'm in D1. Also got an email from Granger that Shipping date is 1/21, and pick up is 4-6 weeks after that. This is a 3500 Crew Cab 8ft bed Laramie Dually Patriot Blue. It has the 12" Digital Cluster and Trailer Reverse Guidance. Only mention that because the website says Trailer Revserse Guidance isn't available until Spring. Really wish I could get the digital rear view mirror. Hopefully I can add that on myself, or go aftermarket.
Usually the ship date when you are D1 is your actual build date - the day it “ships” to the next step in the order process. That’s what the dealer has told me last year and what we found to be true in the whole process for the ‘22s

brv10,

Yay! I think.

You obviously can see more than me/us, so from a basic explanation, what would a vendor do that the factory doesn’t?

Is going to the vendor, another way to clear the main floor and lot to do some of the less labor intensive adds?

Thanks for the update and explanation of JSLD!!

Wishing you a Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Happy and Safe New Year!
And depending on parts availability, you can sit at the outside vendor for a long wait. My ‘22 sat at the outside vendor for 61 days collecting dust and having tequila parties with the locals

sounds like your truck parties harder than I do..

Well at least it’s warmer there than the Midwest
I don’t think I ordered many options that require vendor support, but who knows. It could also be a built in delay

Anybody know the build code for premium bucket seats in a BH 3500? I believe it's MJX9 for black but don't see it here.
