I ordered my suspension from CJC Off-Road for the new 2023 Ram 2500 LTD with factory air ride yesterday.

I will report back with pics and review once installed.
Goals were minimal lift as possible.
Smoothest ride as possible
Still maintain 100% towing capacity.
Improve the steering stability as much as possible.

The 1"Thuren soft coils looked to be the best bet to improve the ride smoothness given my truck as factory rear air and that limits my options of what I can run with it. Carli has pin-top king setup for trucks with factory air but crazy expensive and more lift then would really work well for me. But Carli does seem to have the best steering stabalizer kit on the market with their new true dual with the upper and lower kit.
CARLI SUSPENSION 2014+ RAM 2500/3500 TRUE DUAL STEERING STABILIZER SYSTEM

If you're looking for the best steering stabilizer setup for a 2014+ Ram 2500 or 3500 truck, look no further. While most brands use "dual" stabilizers with two shocks on the tie rod for looks, Carli pursued a different route with a true dual opposing stabilizer system that uses one stabilizer on the tie rod and one on the drag link. Simply put, there is no better stabilizer setup on the market for 2014+ Ram trucks. Carli uses proprietary stabilizers with a custom valving profile and small shaft diameter to offer maximum damping and impact resistance without negatively impacting steering feel. Their fully-rebuildable construction boasts a Stainless Steel body with Machined Billet Aluminum Rod ends housing precision 1/2” Spherical Bearings topped off with a hardened Black Nitride Shaft. Each stabilizer’s nitrogen chamber is adjustable from 70psi to 200psi allowing customers to correct for radial tire-pull in various configurations. If no pull exists, the Stabilizer can be set from 70psi to 100psi as this neutral range will pressurize the oil for proper function without biasing correcting in either direction. Please note that the Carli high mount stabilizers included with this kit ONLY work with factory Mopar linkage, and no aftermarket options!

Would love to hear owner feedback from anyone running a similar setup.

Here is exactly what I have ordered for my new 2023 Ram 2500.

Here is the 23 with his older brother.

My 2015 2500 also has (Edit) the same Thuren soft coil setup 1" front and stock height rear mid-rate coils with King shocks and bunch of other Thuren stuff.

That 2015 rides awesome. But the 2015 with its suspension setup it is just not as good at towing heavy anymore.

Wanting to keep the new truck fully capable of max towing with max stability.

New truck as it sets today with its windows tinted.
Awaiting its rack and toolbox to be finished and all installed hopefully next week and the week after the new suspension should be getting installed.

It's hell getting old, memory not as good as it use to be I guess.
I was thinking my 2015 had 2" front coils and 1" rear. But apparently not.
I pulled my old invoice from 5 years ago to refresh my memory of what all I did that 2015 truck.
I guess based on the invoice I did the 1" front coils on it as well. The original soft rear coils did get changed out for mid-rate coils.
So that 1/2 inch drop is not really realy there.
I looked up the mid rate coils and they are considred stock height. I think they are net slightly taller when nothing is in the truck.

I think you have a great plan! I am running the Thuren 1" front coils (actual lift was 1.5") with Carli King 2.5 resi's and Thuren front and rear track bars. I also welded in new Carli upper coil support and lower shock brackets. Also have the Carli front sway bar. I love the way it rides now! Attached are a few photos of the front setup ...

I have almost the same setup on my 2015 Ram 2500, only I had Kings and rear coils on that truck.
This new truck has Fox and factory rear air so no rear soft coils on the 2023 Truck.

The 2023 does ride and drive better than stock. Not as smooth as the 2015 with soft coils up front and mid rates in the rear, but still much better then stock.
The rear air bag trucks I think are always going to be a bit stiffer riding then the coil sprung trucks.

Not sure what is going on the Forums pics but I had a heck of time loading pics last night.
I will try again.

The admin must have changed something. I uploaded pics on here just fine a few weeks ago.
Now they all say to large, so I tried linking from the Cummins forum nope not allowing those either.
Tried to cut and past as well.
They show up when creating the post then when I post it they X out.

Ok here are the pics I have been trying to post.
‘Had to screen shot and shrink them to get them to work.

Thanks !

The Headache rack and rails are all one piece. They were made by company in Texas that has since gone out of business not really sure how many years ago.

The smaller rack on the back of the Ranger Raptor was the last one I had them make back in 2016, I had it built for a Diesel Colorado I had at the time.

I recently dug it out of storage and had to have it modified and re-powder-coated to fit the Ranger, same sort of thing with the rack seen on the Ram, I had it originally made for a 2005 RAM 1500 long bed (8ft).
I had dug it out of storage and reused it in 2022 on a ram 8ft bed 3500 I had at the time, and later (now) had it modified for use on the 6 ft bed seen on the LTD it is setting on now.

Those fresh powder coats after they went under the knife is why they look new. Plus, I installed new LED lights in them.

The company that made them was also in business of making beds, and bumpers and other stuff, similar to companies like Ranchand only much smaller.
You might check out companies like Ranch hand or those like that for possibly making similar racks and rails today, or checking into your local fab shops.
Prior to that company that made all these, I use to simply contract local fab shops to custom make racks and rails for my trucks.

Thanks for the info. I made my own on my last truck but don't feel motivated to build another. I was hoping to just buy something. Lol.

If all your after is rails. Backrack has some rails that you can get.
They look like these. You can buy the rails without the rack.
These are sold in a modular format, You can buy the rack then add rails or whatever configuration you want.
Here is a link.

This is one of my delivery trucks that I use in my business.

IMG_9258.jpegIMG_9257.jpegIMG_9256.jpegIMG_9263.jpegIMG_9265.jpegStill loving the new LTD, so much so I finally let go of my old 2015. Sold my 2015 a couple weeks ago, that 2015 had been my all time favorite truck ever, owned it for nearly a decade that’s about twice as long as I owned any other vehicle.
