2023 HD Crowdsourced Order Tracking & Waiting Room

Houston had over 17,000 stolen last year. Dallas where I live, 13,000. Ram trucks are in the top 5 most stolen. Everyone I know here either has or knows a close friend or family member who has had a vehicle stolen.
Philly is at 6344 for the year so far. Although i moved out of the city I spend a lot of time there remodeling my home getting it ready to sell. Crime has gotten so out of control there that I've decided to sell a property that has been in my family almost 200 years even though the house is only 103.
Luckily, the Ram trucks are not in the top 10.

This thread is for discussion of the (enhanced!) 2023 Crowdsource Tracking Sheet and status updates on orders.

The new sheet has been more fully automated meaning I should have the time to hang out even though I’m not personally ordering a 2023 truck.

To participate:

  1. Add your order info through the form
  2. Check out the Spreadsheet

IMPORTANT NOTE: Your VON, Last Name, and Complete VIN will not be publicly shared this time!

FAQs

What is the point of the crowdsource tracking spreadsheet?
To bring visibility to members of this forum to what trucks have been built and are being prioritized. While we'll never fully understand the prioritization Stellantis uses to determine what trucks to build, I believe more transparency is better. The more information we share with each other the better we'll be informed of what's going on across the broader production landscape.

Where can I get updates on my order status?
Your best option is the new Ram Vehicle Order Tracker.

You may also contact your dealer or Ram Chat.

Sorry, Canadians, your only option is your dealer.

Does ODS have a special source for order status?
No. I'm just Joe Shmoe.

Should I also sign up for Cryptostickers?
You might as well. They have a process to email you as soon as they see your equipment listing or window sticker become available.

Submit your info at https://cryptostickers.net/

What do the status codes mean?
Check the Build Status Codes thread for more info.
This spreadsheet is brilliant, thank you. What do the different colors indicate in each cell?

I have nothing I can say about MD but awesomeness. Both orders I made have been fantastic. And the price is incredible…11.5% below MSRP. I believe Koon’s sells the same, but MD is all over it. 500-700 vehicles a month, and the only dealer to earn an award for selling a vehicle in all 50 states last year. Let me know if you decide to go that route and I will give you Renae’s info. All of their sales staff is on salary without commission…they are fantastic. This ad has not been endorsed by MD nor do I earn anything for this ad…LOL
I will second that. I am picking up from MD tomorrow. They are not pushy on sales, not pushy on finance and the commission thing is probably why. Their first finance rate was high and I said I would use my credit union. He said hold on came back 4 minutes later with .5% lower than my credit union from Chase so I took it. They sent me 2 pics the morning it arrived. I asked for more pics before signing paperwork and they sent me 20 an hour later. Paperwork was all electronic. Deposit wires. Just setup Ram app this morning and can see the truck location. If all goes well tomorrow I would say they have been the best dealer I have worked with out of the 15 new cars I have purchased.

It has gotten bad about everywhere I live in area where 20 years ago you could go on vacation for two weeks leave everything unlocked with keys in it , no longer so , drugs are really bad here now , I know this is off subject but I’m glad all you guys bring up stuff like this because it has helped me a lot in getting ready for my new truck , I would never have known what a faraday bag was until my truck came up missing some day but now I have 2 coming for my new ram:)

THANK YOU for the kind words! Goes without saying I know a lot of folks on this thread are waiting a LONG time so we certainly try our best to make our end of it as easy as possible. We do still have some gutwrenching orders sitting in transit delay, and the last rail stop is . . . slow sometimes, but everyone on the ground at MD is fired up to get these trucks to you all.

My estimated delivery date just changed from 4/30/23 to 4/22/23, so maybe I've left, or am about to leave, from the railyard. Here's hoping.

We both started build on same day.
No movement on tracker for me.
Hopefully I’m not far behind.
West coast delivery
Congrats

The two worst parts of the order, in my opinion, are definitely the JB black hole (outside vendor and/or before shipping), and the final railyard blackhole. Hopefully they get yours on a train soon.

Seems according to the sheet, the Limited long bed DRW seem to take the longest just to get scheduled. Short beds seem to move along pretty quickly. Of course I purchased a loaded Limited, long bed DRW, lol. Good thing I am not in a hurry. I still have to sell my 2500 Megacab anyway.

Welp, no shocker but the estimated delivery date of my truck (which has not shipped) changed from tomorrow to TBD.
Almost like they put minimal effort into the software that tracks things and predicts a date based on statistics of previous orders and known queues ahead of where a given truck is on the process.
Hmm.
Or maybe it was an intern project.

Anyone else been waiting forever for shipment to Granger Motors? Mine was ordered 9/26 and has been KLZD status since 2/14 with no movement. I drove by the dealership last week and noticed they had over 20 trucks sitting on their lot tagged “Hold for Recall”. Perhaps they are prioritizing shipments based on lot inventory? Mine isn’t part of the recall but I can’t for the life of me figure out why it hasn’t shipped. Granger has no answers either..

Hello Everyone, I'm really new to these forums so please forgive me if I lack proper etiquette.
I just put a deposit down on a 2023 Longhorn Dually at MD. By the way Thanks to this forum I stand to save at least 10K on the out the door price.
I can't wait to fly from Seattle to Houston and drive my new baby home. My wait is just beginning I'm not even on the tracker yet... and I'm excited... oh this is going to be a long wait!

Tracker went from estimated delivery May 7 to tomorrow. @bhal212 Give me a shout if you see my truck at Koons ;) and congrats on yours.
If I was a bettin' man, I'd say you will get an email today that it arrived. I received mine right at 8pm so I doubt they stuck around to write any more instead of going home. :D

Thank you, I'll tell it hello, you do the same for me if you get there first!

Mine kept showing a estimated delivery date of 3/21 and was still showing that until I went to bed that night. During the night it changed to TBD…wasn’t a shock since I knew it was sitting JB, and has been since 2/8 — 73 days and counting
