2023 HD Crowdsourced Order Tracking & Waiting Room

Dealer returned my call and sent me photo of tracker. Told him I may just order a 2024 if not here by July.
What is service event paper hanging?
Going on two months since built no proof I’m affected by hail storm.

Glad this forum helps keep us all updated.
Too funny...I was trying to find the "paper hanging" meaning myself-no luck. On the possible bright side, like you said, no "hail" in your status, but the date is ominous. My dealer did put in the same order, they don't know if it will get accepted though. I did open a StarCase up, so I'm hitting corporate and dealer simultaneously. Any clue when the 2024s will open up for ordering?

Not sure when 2024 ordering will be available.

I sent in a complaint through the website to Ram. No real response from them.

Thank you for your service.

yea interestingly, my dealer has another incoming rebel that was produced before mine, KZLD on that also, everything incoming is delayed right now all 8 of their 2500's. Must be the hail. Mine is still in mexico, probably hail damage. Thinks maybe 2 months. I might just jump to a mega cab they just got. Seems a lot of incoming have been damaged. They had a granite laramie loaded arrive today, damaged during transport. FFS.

I have tried asking Ram some questions via chat after getting to a real person. They either only have access to the same limited and often incorrect tracker we have access to or they have been instructed to say nothing beyond that info. The only response I ever got was "we don't have access to that", the tracking url, dealer phone number, and meaningless canned responses that have nothing to do with each question asked. Even for very simple basic questions. It is possible the real person is a lie and also not real. Why even have the chat feature????

If there were as many trucks impacted as the satellite views suggest is possible, they have a mess to figure out. My guess is that talking points will come out once the full assessment is discussed as well as a plan of action developed. At this stage, they are likely getting inundated via their global network. Not fun for anyone.

Agreed. If the damage is up into the 20,000 number of trucks someone posted on another social media location where I first learned of it then yea they have quite a mess to figure out. I could see them wanting to keep it under wraps if that number is true.

I just got an email referencing 20,000 trucks. Must be a canned letter. It said that 5,000 have been processed and they're doing 450 inspections/repairs per day with hopes of being done by May 20

I don't think all of the trucks get unloaded into one location in the US. Below is my routing, and below that is routing posted by "Back of me hand". I went to straight to Belvidere, IL from the plant, and "Back of me hand" went from a holding yard in Saltillo to Wentzville, MO. There's a Stellantis assembly plant in Belvidere (although it be be closed at this point). I don't know what's in Wentzville, but maybe both places are final QC checks and that's where the hail damage is being found. as "Back of me hand" was turned around at that point.

I think the damage occurred during transport from the plant.

They stay on the same railcar from Mexico to the destination yard, locked and loaded, the only ones that moved around were shipped by boat.

That's what
Thought I'd check back in and see how things are going for you guys. I stopped checking the forums around page 100 of this thread when my truck went to KZ on 2/6. 3 months later I'm still at KZ. @brv10 would you be able to check in on PG501437 and see if there is something holding it up, or I'm just terribly unlucky at catching a train ride out of Mexico. I've checked in with MD monthly and they just say its waiting for shipping.

Same status still, waiting for a train since 2/6

A little late to post a final pickup photo. Drove home for 7 days 3K miles. Got home and got covid the day after I got back, slept for a few days and feeling better now. Ran through valley of the gods in Utah to get some dirt on the tires. MD was great through the whole process. Luckily I must of missed the hail damage by a few days. Love the truck and every choice I made for my use, especially the bench seat. Gratuitous pic attached.

Nice, both the truck and the background. Did you take the Valley of the Gods road? We did that road a few years ago in a rental. At one point we were driving on a single lane "road" cut into the side of the mountain and I only saw sky through the windshield.
