2023/2024 Digital Cluster Upgrade?

Ok if that’s the case then I have the code done for the maps and would need to send one out for testing .
Obviously if it doesn’t work I will get it fixed but it’s working for a 2019DJ but that truck don’t have steering wheel audio buttons.
I will try and test in a 22 truck this week but I know some guys have been wanting this for a bit but was struggling a fair bit to get the right messages required and mapping more and more stuff .
So it will required two canbus interfaces just like the DT .
The people who have the one module already should only need one more module but people with no setup will require two .

So right now when we use the VR button to bring up tiles we also get the annoying VR activation .
I’m thinking to get rid of the VR feature all together so when we use the VR button it brings up tiles and that’s it .
What are your guys thoughts on getting rid of VR activation all together ?

Lose it, the VR is useless.

You have a 23/24 radio module too already ?
Yeah I Would have provided that module you have Currently awhile back I’m guessing for the cluster button mappings ?

There is another member who also wants to give it a test as well .

I will get two boards ready over the next week for you two guys .

i do have a 2024 head unit with a 2024 module with all the cameras calibrated, so everything is working correctly. Jimmy sold me a newer cluster with his module, and the only thing it does not have is the maps

When did you get your module from Jimmy as I need to think what code is in it .
Was this a few months ago ?
I think it was looking back at messages from Jimmy and I as we do a fair bit together .

I got the module working and got the maps working too .
This is all on my 18 truck with a 18 bcm
I have a few modules out there .
Jimmy is making the harness and I am providing the can bus module interface that plugs into his harness .

Hi there I sent one out to a member a few days ago.
So will hopefully have the outcome in like 10 days as it’s shipping from Canada to US .

It should work as have it working on another HD truck but I don’t want to release a bunch until I get feedback from this member first .

My hats off to Skuppy069 for getting my digital cluster working with navigation maps showing. He provided both the modules that were needed for this swap. He walked me through the entire process and was a major help. Andrew is the genius behind all this. I can't thank him enough for letting me be a test subject. I appreciate his hard work and perseverance. I know he spent a lot of time on this project, time he could have used to do more fishing. This is by far my new favorite mod to the truck.

Everything is working great; it's almost like having a brand new truck. I installed a new digital cluster, a UC5 12" screen, a UC5 Radio module, and a new CVPM since I have 360 cams. Skuppy069 got me set up with turn signal side cam activation and park aid camera activation too. Thank you, Andrew, I sincerely appreciate you! I owe you a proper Texas BBQ dinner if you ever come to Texas, bud!

Has anyone been able to update mileage on a 7in digital cluster on a 24 ram 2500? I did a swap and I can't get alfaobd to change it on the new cluster... I used a 12+8 bypass... any help?
