2022 Uconnect 5 12.0 Glitches

I looked at mine and thought the same thing - no map - but then I noticed its there just very very faint. Not sure how to change that however. Maybe in display settings? I am no to worried about the map showing under the weather - I know where

Took mine to the dealer today.
Mine is still stuck on .B software.
Dealer told me they plugged it in and it said it had the latest software.
It doesn’t.
Such a disappointment. Not sure what else to say or do.
I’m sure it will get fixed. At some point.

I have the same version as you. Iam not having any issues. I did notice that the NAV isn't giving Diesel prices but other than that everything is working.

so i filled out a survey about my ram purchase, and Ram has been in contact with me over the phone and are investigating my wireless carplay issues. So far they report they don't see any issues with my VIN and that there isn't a software update for my truck. so not all trucks get the same update it is VIN dependent. So far all they wanted me to try was the factory reset etc. i'll keep everyone posted if they come up with a solution that actually works.

Yea. Some days mine appears to work as intended. Other days it has a mind of its own.
Since I took it the dealer and they did they’re “reset” has been pretty stable.
No diesel prices as stated and the weather app works about 1 out of every 10 tries.
What are you referring to when you say diesel prices? There must be a feature im not familiar with?

Been skimming through this thread since before I took delivery of mine in mid-Dec. Thought I was one of the luckiest around.....until I updated to the latest software. Now every 2-3 starts the top bar along the screen won't show any comfort data. Have been able to get it back if I reset the radio, but even that is not good enough now. Hard to factory reset the other day... 2 days later same as before no function across the top. Oh, and now when I turn off the truck the seat doesn't slide back. None of this is big, just annoying.
After 12 days and 2 Uconnect 12" systems and the dealer losing my keys (whole other story) Got the call it was fixed. Went to the dealer Friday night and picked truck up and all was good for the weekend. Today I drive to work back into my spot shut truck off and push start button to accessory and screen was black again. I called Ram Cares on Thursday to start a case with them but have yet to get a call back from my assigned specialist.

I finally bit the bullet and did the reset to factory settings last night. Obviously lost all my presets on radio and all truck settings. Once it reset in about 5 minutes I was able to go back in and put back way I wanted. This morning everything including weather and off road pages work perfect. No flashing apps!!!

When I start my 2022 2500 with 12.1 Uconnect 5 now on screen I get the nice little icon I choose and my name I entered and it says get started with a pop up keyboard at the bottom. Get started doing what?

I have never gotten a pop up keyboard except for in the NAV screen...are you in the NAV screen? Pics are helpful.

I updated. It did help with a pile of CarPlay app glitches. Worthwhile absolutely.

Went to use my Tom Tom Nav yesterday.
Decided it was going to give me directions using the metric system. And the audio is almost imperceptible. Can’t hear the instructions.
Just out of the blue. Didn’t change any settings.

I just drove about 500 miles and everything was working perfect. After a shutting down and starting several times the uconnect froze. Phone looked connected but it wasn’t. (Car play, Bluetooth not working)
I did the soft reset and it seems to be working again. It suck Ram techs can get it right. My wife’s 30k Subaru works perfectly all the time.

Just drove 500 miles back home. CarPlay work good until my IPhone over heated on the wireless charging pad (only charged to 70%). I was using Waze and pandora apps.
I let the phone cool down but again the CarPlay would not hook up. I had to soft reset again then it was fine.
