My 2500 was built 6/15, and is still waiting for a train ride. It changed to KZ as of 8/15, but now I'm wondering if this is going to further delay things.....

My 2500 was built on 8/22 and shipped on 8/24 with a delivery est of 10/17.

I have a feeling mine was built on the last day of the bad batch of ECM's. So, I assume I will have a recall notice waiting for me near my delivery date. I wonder if the dealers will have parts to swap incoming units before PDI?

I can hope that is how it works out, but I have a feeling I will be taking delivery of my truck with a ticking bomb ECM and waiting for recall parts to be sent out. But ECM's are ALL chips......hopefully Cummins has enough in stock!

Looks like we are in the same holding pattern. Mine shows Vehicle Built Jul-21-2022 and no movement since. I have been getting "canned" responses from RAM Cares (email). Please post their number if you can. I will try the direct phone route. I actually prefer the ECU recall being done before it ships from the factory. I surely do not want a $100K paperweight. I expect the truck to be operational and trouble free. This is my first RAM, and I am getting cold feet.

Thanks. I emailed my salesperson at MD last night - no response yet. I assume they were out at the time of my build or it had been temporarily removed from level A on April 30 when I ordered, although I recall expecting it from when I ordered.

The article I found on hail damage was a storm around June 12th.
The other article found was a problem with ECMs from Cummins. That happened around the time yours was built.

Either could be the culprit, or you could be another victim of the dreaded "waiting for shipping" black hole.

@brv10 Sir, could you please help check my truck's ( 3C63R3JL1NG319642 ) latest status with your magic? I feel the tracker giving me the correct update, but for a peace of mind, your confirmation is known, proved and most accurate so far. Thanks!

brv10 looked into it for me. It is in a JB status since 7/22 looks like its for the bedliner and running board install at an offsite vendor. He also stated it will be shipped via boat to GA

I received a response. Apparently it wasn’t there when I ordered - supply issues I assume.
 
After reading the latest posts on this thread it appears my order is one of the most delayed. Order confirmed on 2/26 for a 3500 dually Longhorn Limited Mega Cab with most options. Sticker price $101k. Built on 6/14. Going on 7 months now. Waiting to ship. I was originally told I would receive it in "16-20 weeks" I have contacted Ram four times by phone and told someone would contact me. That has never happened. My dealer told me "we have no idea when or if you will ever receive it". "The manufacturer gives us no information". My trade in is now worth $5K+ less due to it going over 100K miles. 0% financing deals have come and gone. I have a large non refundable deposit paid to Kelderman for the upgrades. I posted on another forum and got a response from an attorney who is preparing a class action lawsuit. Is that my only option? Is there anyone else's truck this delayed? NO one at the dealer or FCA has any idea if they will ever receive it? Thanks. Very frustrating. Order #54149719

Thanks! The last info I got was a Mexican cartel had stolen the keys of this particular shipment to try and exhort some money. Unbelievable.
