2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Mine took a week to go through dealer prep, paperwork, and get the RAM heavy duty mudflaps put on. I'm in Maryland, bought online through Kernersville, NC ($6500 less than any local dealer would go, Maryland tags/titlework and shipping included). They've been good to me during this 6+ month wait. Delivery (300 miles free at the time) is scheduled for 16 Aug to my daughter's house who was right on that mark and about 2 hours south of me !

The RAM app has 'Meg' sitting patiently behind a guarded fence at their shipping lot. Surprisingly the only thing I've ordered while waiting was a Gator tonneau cover for $279. Use a cover a few months of the year, couldn't beat the price for a tri-fold.

27 Jan to 16 Aug, 6.5 months. Not great, not horrible... average like me.

My dealer just advised that my code is "KZLD." Looking at the forums, that had 'Departing Mixing Yard" next to this traffic code. Does anyone know what that means?

Anyone have any idea of how long shipping is actually taking from the Mexico factory to Kellogg, ID? Is it really taking taking a month like my tracker is estimating? Shipped 7/29, delivery estimated to be 8/29.

Hoping someone could look into their magic 8 ball for me and get me a little more info than the dealer has. I put down a deposit on this truck that they had in transit, was initially told it would be maybe a week out, but it's just been sitting in TN for the past few weeks according to the dealer. Dealer doesn't seem to have any more info than that, it's heading to the North side of Cincinnati, OH.

All I know is it's a 2022 2500 Power Wagon Retail is about 62K. Can't seem to identify an actual location. If it's in TN it may be a a dealer and your Cincinnati dealer is trying to negotiate an offer and get it transported north.

I ordered a day after you on 22nd June and still waiting at “D”, Order Confirmed.
Just to give you fellows an idea, I ordered April 30, then two months of nothing. June 30 production scheduled. 3 more weeks of nothing. Production July 24-26. Shipped July 27. Waiting again.

From reading these forums, my times are pretty average. Some are much faster. Some much slower.

Ive read a bunch. Dealer said 4-8 months. My logic is they plan on starting MY23 builds in October…..they better get crackin on the 22s.

Yeah. I meant to to say that you may actually have ordered at a good time. When I ordered they gave me a range of “3-6 months but could be more, or even less, but probably 4 mos.” Currently the tracker shows my delivery about a week shy of 4 mos. I’m hopeful.

That’s ordered from one of the big volume dealers, MD. I’m not sure whether or not they get any kind of preference.

I think they might. Last order I did was at Koons and my Jeep took about 2.5 weeks vs the 8-12 weeks other dealers were quoting me. This time my Ram from MD is going to be about 3 months it seems and I've seen a lot of longer waits. And I'm excluding people that got caught at a rail yard or outside vendor in that observation.

It finally made it !
I’m not gonna celebrate just yet, haven’t even driven it down the road, gonna wait for a few of y’all’s to land then we’ll have a party so y’all better get on the stick.

My high output limited 3500 has been locked in D1 since four weeks ago. Can someone here confirm if for some reason the high output diesels with the aisin transmissions are not being built because of supply issues? Because I look on the tracker and regular diesels and gas trucks are being built but the high output ones are being hopscotched around. It would seem as though maybe the aisin transmission could be on backorder and unavailable for the past few weeks.
Heck my truck should be on the railroad by now....

It is the cap for the electrical connector if you take the tailgate off…I have no truck yet but have read the owners manual one time too many  But I could be wrong

Yes, give or take a few days. From Mexico to Baltimore took almost a month. My truck shipped 7/7. Supposed to be at the dealer on 8/4.

Dude,
I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. I have read the manual and watched enough Youtube where I can tear down and rebuild the 6.7 with certain success. This is not my first Ram, I have a 2019 fully tricked out 1500 midnight. However, my tow vehicle has been and still is a 2007 GMC Sierra Duramax that I know inside out and have been through many trials and tribulations with. I know there is no replacement for time and experience but I really can't wait to know the new systems of the 3500 6.7 HO / Aisin as well as I know my current set up.
