2022 Ram 3500 Spotter Mirror (internal assembly)

I did post a reply in another thread, but it was a little older so I'm posting here for help. I did an "uh-oh" and hit the side of my garage entry and it popped the lower side glass out (and broke). I got a new side glass and then realized that it was the actual cup mount (or whatever it's called, that broke. I can't find the parts anywhere and it's looking like an expensive WHOOPS. Any help in locating one would be appreciated as I'm not so good at this sort of thing.

Well, after a lot of research before I was wiling to bite the bullet and buy a whole new assembly at over $1k I found a solution. I was almost inclined to even try and have the piece 3-D printed. Low and behold I found a control motor from a Peugeot of all things. The housing is different but same exact motors, and cup mounting bar and even the the little ball mounts for moving the mirror were all the same. $11 for that part, $15 for the glass and boom, back in business. It's also tough to find the mirror glass with the backing for a power mirror l, so I just used a heat gun to remove the old glass and used 3m double sided for the new glass. It's an obscure issue but maybe it will help someone out someday.
