This is my 2nd Power Wagon and 3rd Ram 2500, all purchased new. Both my Power Wagons took me to Alaska and back (from NJ) with zero issues. I towed an enclosed cargo trailer to Alaska with my 2018 Wagon and would do it again in a heartbeat, no sweat for these trucks. A Leer cap and 35" BFG TA K02s are my only mods. I special ordered a 2025 HD Tradesman with the Power Wagon package on March 29, 2025, and my salesman just told me that Stellantis will honor the pre-tariff pricing on this Mexico built truck. I hope he is right, but if not, keeping my 2022 as a backup option isn't a bad plan! PXL_20220424_183016902.jpgmarkup_1000002379.jpg

Great looking PW! What made you go with the Tradesman version this go around?

It was an economic decision with a small bit of Luddite attitude on my part. My 2022 is decked out with most of the options, but I find myself using the electronics sparingly, and quite frankly I can live without leather and cordless chargers in my truck. I loaded up the Tradesman with safety stuff and a big screen, and I'm hoping I won't miss the extra frills found inside a "real" Power Wagon. A fairly well equipped 2024 PW on my dealer's lot was $16,000 more than my Tradesman cost, so new 35s and other mods will happen sooner rather than later.
Your truck sounds pretty cool. I want 37s but I don't want to lift or rub, and 35s still fill the wells decent enough...

That makes a lot of sense. The cost of these trucks is getting crazier every year and I have thought about doing the same thing with a tradesman the next go around. It seems like you can add some pretty good options to those trucks now.
