2022 HD Crowdsourced VIN/Order Tracking

I got the call from Aaron at Mark Dodge today. I'll be picking it up just after Thanksgiving at the New Orleans airport.

9/9/21 -2022 2500 Limited Ordered- Hemi, Level 1, Maximum Steel, Night Edition, Sunroof
9/11/21 - VIN Received
10/15/21 - Build Sheet Posted
10/23/21 - Confirmation Truck was Built
10/30/21 - Window Sheet Posted
11/02/21 - Shipping Stage (via Ram Chat)
11/11/21 - Awaiting Road Transport to Mark Dodge from Depot
11/19/21 - Ready for Pick Up at Mark Dodge

Love to see trucks getting delivered - but I have a question

The poor May orders seem to be neglected more than the June-July orders - any clue as to why?

Those are darn good questions! Not sure what criteria FCA uses to complete these builds, but you'd think they'd make a run to catch up on Customers who have already ordered. I do know from extensive reviews every dealership in the country has been receiving 2022 trucks to be placed on the lot for sale. I seriously believe if FCA would take one weekend 24/7 shift and concentrate on customer purchases all these could be delivered before Christmas. Wouldn't that be nice! A brand new shiny truck on Christmas Day?

My dealer messaged me yesterday and said There is 27 ram dealers in there district and 3400 hd rams been ordered so far. So I’d say I’m sure I have a long wait still and I’m on week 9. But would love to see our group all get orders built all at once

That's an average of 125 trucks per dealership! You must live in a big city like LA, Dallas, Atlanta, etc. I would think most average RAM dealers wouldn't have more than 20 units at any given time. If this is true...... The Chip shortage is causing anyone with a truck older than a couple years to purchase NOW! It's like what happened to toilet paper during the beginning of the pandemic. People didn't actually need the paper, but the media made everyone think they did......

Nope live hour east of Sioux City iowa or 1 n half hour south of Sioux Falls sd

Definitely several in the area but I’m assuming since the sales rep from my dealer is in Denver big range and within 3 hours there is at least 4 large ram dealers
 
Visited my dealer this afternoon, mentioned my build sheet popped yesterday, he was able to print out a copy of the window sticker for me, and just got home to an email from cryptostickers that the window sticker was found. Dealer shows the truck released from Saltillo Plant andheaded for shipping, but no ETA to dealer yet, said theyve been getting trucks in about 4 weeks from build date though. Guess its a my Christmas gift this year!
