I tracked my 2017 1500 Sport on another site and it was very exciting to follow the progress .... At least with a VIN we know that the factory has it in the system.
 
You guys are in for a long wait.
8/7 order here and it never moved from D status.
Vin was available in couple days. Ordered on a Saturday, Monday I had the vin.

I figured it'd be a while .... with the way things are I'm just happy that I was able to order it at all ! :oops:
 
is there any clarity on what options are generating longer build wait times? i had heard about sunroofs. I know microchips are impacting all builds, but not sure if specific options are triggering longer build waits

I couldn't get a sunroof with mine ..... parts shortage. But it's a legit order now... All parts available !

BX Status - Good order available for scheduling ! Woohooo !!! :D

There are a number of options that are affecting delay times, but they're inconsistent. The only way to not get delayed is buy one off the lot. Even the most basic trucks are getting delayed by transportation backlogs

But we are only little over 400 orders in this group out of 100,000-200,000 orders depending on vin starting at 000001 or 100000. I found this group same week I ordered my truck and the number at leash has gone up around 25% have build sheets to delivered. I know if I ordered sooner I’d be very upset but they did just start building aug 9 or September 9 I’ve seen both dates . I just keep crossing fingers it keeps moving and I get my new truck before I need it in spring
