Kinda not really the same thing....if the restaurant was waiting on steak to arrive and you ordered steak but the next table over that got sat after you ordered the in stock chicken then of course they are going to get theirs first....the whole component shortage has really got things twisted....either way you look at it...it's definitely frustrating....

And to further explain, I'm waiting on a base Limited that I ordered on 6/8. I have seen the identical Limited built before mine that was ordered over 2 1/2 months after mine. It even had more options than I had ordered. So now did that guy get his food first because it was more expensive than mine??

That's the truth! I would love to have one free pass on not voiding warranty because of a mod, deleting the DEF would definitely be it. Improved mileage & power, sounds like win/ win!!

Maybe they only had enough pizza for one person and they figured either you would starve or go to another restaurant.

I ordered 3500 mega limited lvl 1(no air ride, no trailer cameras, no ram box, no sunroof) May 10th. Have seen other limited lvl 1 mega cabs with air ride, trailer cameras, ram box and sunroofs ordered in august already delivered.

Are you still in D status? I wouldn't wait 5 months for a truck to start the build process. If you have a deposit I would get it back, chances of ordering anything at this point will be at least 3-4 months but that's from start to delivery.

But realistically his first 3 months were before 22 production started. I’m right there with him. Our trucks should have been built already, but really can’t start counting until they started building, we new that part going in though. If I keep seeing august orders cranked out and my truck doesn’t stick to its build date of 10/18 I may pull out at that point.

Sometimes it's better to pull out and go with something else. I'm wondering if they are just fitting in the previous orders prior to the actual start date as they configure a certain trim.

I would prob pull my order at this point but already have like 15k in parts ready to go and I’m not trying to overpay for a used truck or one off the lot. The deal through Mark dodge is too good so I’ll just keep complaining and wait I guess

No sir. These are my exact options:

Night Edition
Snow Chief
Dual alternators
Bed step
Rambox, not sure if that is considered an option being that it is "standard" on the Limited

I have seen trucks with all of the options built already and obviously trucks with even more options. I truly feel it is something like what someone posted in the 22 thread, when my truck was to be built on Aug 14th they did not have all of the parts needed at that moment in time so the truck gets sidelined until they have sourced all of the necessary parts. Then at that time when they have everything, the parts get allocated to my build and my truck goes to the back of the line of what is currently scheduled to be built. As far as I am aware I will still be receiving all of the features and options I ordered and what was to come standard on the truck as well, especially being a June order before they started chopping options to get them built.

That was pretty spot on. My window sticker popped up on 9/13 and the truck was loaded on a train the next day. Arrived at the destination rail yard (Baltimore) 10/4 and to the dealer (in MD) yesterday.

Touched base with Sandi at Mark Dodge. Truck shipped 10/2 and is scheduled to arrive in Port Allen, LA on 10/14. From there, she said it would take 2-3 weeks to arrive at the dealer due to a shortage of drivers.

yours was railed to baltimore mine is shipped to brunswick ga may be different time for shipping on boat.

It actually took two weeks for my truck to make it from Port Allen to Lake Charles. Aaron said there are only five trucks distributing all imported vehicles (by rail) throughout the entire state right now.
