I ordered on 7/1. 3500 Megacab Limited Night edition SW HO most tech except trailer tpms and camera. No sunroof. Build sheet showed up this morning

Same build as me. Except I ordered May 10th and still nothing. I didn’t get trailer cameras, tpms or sunroof

Exactly. I’ve gone from congratulating ppl to trying to figure out a polite way to ask them to be mindful of those of us left behind and still getting painfully rammed, so to speak.

Painful… so sorry.

If it helps, I’m considering canceling my order, and going to Ford. Before doing so, they have a forum like this one so I checked it out. It could be a carbon copy of this one — they have same pain.

The 22 fords are very nice. My father in law just bought a 22 F350 limited. I wouldn’t mind driving it every day. However I’ve already bought about 15k in parts for this truck so I’ll just wait it out I guess

No air suspension, no ram boxes, no bedstep. So it looks like you had a lot more options than mine. Apparently my build date is week of Nov 15 per my dealer

I started looking at duramax trucks today. Found one in bound to a dealer 650 miles from me that I could be satisfied with. Way less tech than the ram I ordered. But 15k less as well.

I’m going to let it ride until Monday. Then I’m going to start researching the competition and options.

My issue isn’t the delays, it’s the absolute lack of credible information on… such a simple thing: status.

That's my biggest thing. No one can tell me anything except its got a vin. That's it. Not even when they think they might start on it. If it's going to be December let me know lol. I also can be impatient sometimes lol

I really think it takes getting down to this level of detail to explain why some trucks are being built and others aren't.

The only outrage which I think is somewhat justified at this point is the decision to prioritize the more profitable trucks. It would be nice if we observed them not get so far ahead on Limited trucks before getting to the Laramie and Big Horns. But.. they are a for profit company with relatively little (but of course strong) competition.

I am a mid June limited order and am as non pulsed as anyone. But I am not sure profitability is the key driver of the build schedule. If I had to say the higher trims are the more profitable. They are building what they have parts for. As to why early orders are lagging, who knows?

My dealer claimed yesterday that my POC changed to D1. I'm not sure that D1 means much.... but at least they are fixing to get ready to prepare to think about maybe one day considering to possibly build my truck.

Wow. I've been on here for 3 years and never noticed that I misspelled my own name. Now I will hang my head in shame with every post that perpetuates my ignorance.

Maybe I should ask a mod to try and fix that... that's pretty embarrassing.

In a chevy? That would be a desperation move.

I would rather look out at my driveway and see nothing while dealing with the wait than have to face one of those in it....What would the neighbors say?

lol. I’ve been a Ram (dodge)/gm guy my whole life. Beats buying a Ford. I found a nice 3500 duramax on its way to Logan Utah. Price is nice too. 64k.

Like you I was a devoted GM guy until I had an issue with a Chevy dealer about ordering a half ton way back in '97. To make a long story short, on my way home I came up to a Dodge dealer and decided to see what they would do.

I drove home that night with a 1500 club cab and have never looked back simply because Dodge/ Ram has never given me a reason to.

For me, the aesthetics, performance and reliability have been exceptional .
