2022 HD Crowdsourced VIN/Order Tracking

I just noticed on the spreadsheet that my truck is listed as SRW, when it's actually DRW. Don't want to throw off any spreadsheet mojo, but is this something I can correct myself? Don't know if it really makes a difference, just wanted to offer to correct it if it was important to the overall analysis.

Is your VIN correct in the sheet?

It's possible the source for this information I used is incorrect, but my understanding is that "R3K" in positions 5-7 of the VIN indicate the following: 3500 Left-hand drive 4x4 SRW Crew Cab Long Bed Longhorn.

Edit: Here's a link to the VIN info from 2020. It matches the same resources I've seen from 2016 and 2017
 
I got a configuration preview sheet at the time I gave my deposit and placed the order. I also have received 2 POC's since then. Looking back, none of these documents specifies SRW/DRW or the GVWR.

DRW is an up charge or it comes in max tow group I think. I’m guessing it should be on your preview sheet in a separate line.

You might be ordering again.

Is the vin# you posted the same as on your POC?
Yes it's the same. Just heard from my salesman admitting he screwed up the order. I'm in the processes of cancelling the order. Have no confidence in this dealership anymore.

Wow. When did you place your 1st order? This sucks as it will put you at the back of the line?? I wouldn’t trust the same dealership either unless you’re dealing with the sales manager or someone on top. A lot of these sales people are so busy with orders or aren’t even trying nowadays with the cars selling themselves. They don’t call back or try to explain things properly. I had to cancel am order from KY and order with Mark Dodge from LA because the salesman didn’t disclose important information to me. Sales manager was nice and canceled my order and refunded me my 2k deposit.
Good luck with the new order and hopefully it can be expedited since you got screwed.

Just looked at the google sheet. Looks like a few more non-tradesman have made their way through.
Where are you seeing that? I only see 12 built. There were 11 yesterday.

4 of which are not tradesman. Just a general comment that stuff is still moving. Production is not frozen like some are making it sound.
 
Sorry about this news. Maybe the slight silver lining is that it was realized now instead of when it came time to take delivery of the truck? :confused:
Yes, this is true. Got to speak with a sales manager late yesterday, and they think they can get the order changed to DRW without losing my place in line. Not sure I believe that. Going to give them until Monday to figure this out.

My order was placed 8 weeks ago this coming Monday. Poor comunication from the sales department as a whole. My salesman did acknowledge the mistake as his, while the sales manager tried to blame me for signing the agreement. In my defense, while the agreement didn't list the DRW option; it also did not specify SRW either. When I asked my salesman about the missing DRW option originally, he confirmed that it was on the order, just not showing on the agreement. My mistake was trusting him. The sales manager thinks he can add the DRW option monday without losing my place in the production schedule. We'll see...
