2022 HD Crowdsourced VIN/Order Tracking

I couldn't get my full VIN in when I filled out the form and I can't figure out how to fix it myself. Will you please update it to 3C63R3EL3NG119209 when you have a chance? I'm currently on line 119 (order date is 7/3). Are we supposed to update info to you or are you getting the build and ship dates somewhere else automatically? Thanks for doing this! It's been fun to check! Can't wait to see movement.

Thanks, @Justjumpit. I updated your VIN.

I wish I had some magical source for these dates, but I rely on comments throughout the thread for that info.

What I have been able to do is automatically check the equipment listing site (https://fcacommunity.force.com/RAM/s/equipment-listing) every day and I add a link to it when it is actually available for one of the orders.

9 have shown up so far. It's a good sign that a truck is going through the build process.

I just sent this inquiry to the Ram Trucks Marketing Manager- Director Brand Content and Creative Strategist we will see if he responds.

I hope all is well in your circle.

As a quick into, I am a member of the HDRams forum and participate in a thread that tracks production orders for 2022 builds.

As of a few minutes ago there were 205 or of us that have taken the time to enter our order information in a tracking spreadsheet and at least another 100 or so that have posted confirmed orders.

Many members have made an effort to get a clear picture of the current state of production though the standard channels. i.e. Ramchat and our respective dealers. The quality of the information is suspect at best.

There is a collective recognition amongst the group that COIVD is a significant X factor and that combined with the semiconductor supply issue creates significant uncertainty.

All that said, at an average sales price of 65K there is roughly 18 million dollars in orders, backed by an ardent group of brand enthusiast that would appreciate a solid update on production status.

Any info you could share would be greatly appreciated.

LOL, good luck with that! They aren't going to tell you anything different than what's already been said, hurry up and wait! When I placed my order I was told 14-16wks will be about the expected time to wait, I know a lot of people ordered thru the same person I did, Sandi @ Mark Dodge, so I know her response of what to expect is the same to every person that ordered thru Mark, so I'm not sure why everyone is so damn impatient and pissy about how long it takes. You knew going into what the expected wait time was going to be, you had the same choice to either order the truck at a smoking price and wait for it to show up or you try and fund one on a lot and pay out the nose for it. Maybe I just have more patience than most people but I just don't get needing an update about your truck every 3 seconds, wait until you get to that 14wk period then start asking about its whereabouts. Yes, I realize it is a lot of money to spend on a truck but technically you haven't spent anything yet but $1000 deposit to place said order. This is one of the largest group of complainers and whiny babies I have ever seen, it's crazy!!

It's been my understanding that the build sheet appears after the vehicle is built and the window sticker shows when it is invoiced to ship.
Could be. Although I think others have suggested the build sheet appears once the truck has gotten close to being built. It would be cool to know for sure.

As of right now, 9 trucks in the tracking sheet have a build sheet available. Yours is not one of them. But you also seem to have the most concrete proof that your truck is currently being built.

Yeah, I know there are alot of authorities here a few being genuine and the rest just want to come across as one.

As far as the build status... it's just as easy to get it in black and white as it is to repeat what I heard.

With a lot of members here posting order dates, VINs, and order details, there seemed to be value in combining the information in one place. I started to do this on my own, but given the interest, am making it public.

If you are interested in adding to this crowdsourced database, it would be cool if you did the following:
  1. Add your build to the list through the Google Form (link)
  2. Have a look at the combined list in the resulting Google Sheet (link)
I am working on making some enhancements to display the form submissions immediately. I am also considering adding additional information/metadata and ways to make all of it useful. Done

Ideas/comments are more than welcome.

It's exciting to see so many builds tracked. As of now we have 68 in the sheet. It's been interesting to see how many high trim level trucks folks are buying! I expected a lot more Tradesman and Big Horn trucks.

ODS, I noticed on the build sheet that my engine specification is wrong. It shows 6.4 Hemi, but I am a Cummins HO. 4x4 SRW, Rambox, don't know what BSM is.

Blind Spot Monitoring.

As some of the equipment listings started to become available I thought that would be interesting to track since that seems to be the most common component delaying builds. At least per the rumors.

Looks like we're on Stellantis' radar. Something tells me he doesn't really want to add a personal truck order to the sheet.
