2022 2500 HD order

I ordered 2022 Ram 2500 reg cab 8 ft box with 6.4 hemi. It was ordered in mid August of 2022 w/ Land O'lakes discount. I still don't have a vin number or any build date. I'm pretty sure I will never actually get the truck. Is there any way to find out definitively one way or the other of whether it will ever get built. Shouldn't Ram give me some sort of update, instead of being completely in the dark? The salesman says he's as in the dark as I am. Anybody have any thoughts or insight?

Unless you are a Canadian order you should have had a vin within a couple days of the order going through

If you meant Aug 2021 and you don't have a VIN/VON you might be hosed.

Ask the dealer for a copy of your POC.

Welcome aboard, sorry to hear about your troubles. Like @IowaPW said, ask for an updated copy of your POC. Do you have a VON by chance?

Priced Order Confirmation (POC). You should have received a copy when you ordered your truck. It will show the VON (vehicle order number), date ordered, status and options. It will also show the VIN once it is assigned. The dealer can print you a new copy whenever you request it.
