2021 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your order here!

I still haven't heard anything on mine that has been "gathering parts" since the beginning of May. They can't even tell me what parts are holding up the build
I was told the Regional FCA Representative said that sunroofs and Diesel engines were slowing builds. Don’t know if that is a fact but I know 100% that that is what my dealer was told.

And yet Kevo got his air suspension deleted.

The regional rep here told my dealer that he wasn't aware of anything holding them up. I hate people that don't do their jobs. I have to be very explicit with my customers, or heads will roll. It's not that hard for someone to call the factory and say, "What's the issue?"

And mine has no sunroof or Diesel engine either and still waiting for it to show up, although it is in transit now, at this rate it looks like it will be 6 months exactly from time of purchase.

the lack of any answers is driving me nuts. Hard to think of any industry that would be ok with treating their clients the way Ram is handing things with their customers.

Are the same 8 digits of the VON used in the VIN or does it change to completely different numbers?

Strange!

This happened to me as well.
Hopefully the VIN will populate in a few days with the URL.

I have a case opened with FCA to document my journey and indicated how orders are “left in the rafters” in hopes of someone at FCA with “power” to be able to see this phenomenon.

Same here!!
Dealer said all of his 2021 orders were cancelled except for one....mine. he doesn't understand why it was mine that got pushed through. He's thinking 6 weeks to delivery, but i wont hold my breath lol.

I'm ok with it being a 2021 truck due to the 75th options. And it always did bug me driving a vehicle before you're actually in the year of said vehicle.

roller coaster going up...

HI I have been a Lurker here for a month. I ordered my 2500 on April 30th from the local dealer. From all of what you were saying, I said, I will not bug the Dealer until 9 weeks. He called June 30th and said, "It's Here".
We pick it up Thursday. I truly feel for all you, that have waited so long.
Wishing You Well

This weekend will be 12 weeks from order. Truck is apparently built but on hold for more parts. Hope to hear soon.

2500 Limited, Crew, 6.4l, 4.10 Axle, Air Suspension, Snow Chief, Level 1, TPMS, Patriot Blue with Indigo Interior.

Curious to see how yours goes. Mine is very similar except mine is Megacab and I don't have Snow Chief. My air suspension and 4.10 axles were removed from the order at the factory

Unresolved. Amelia appears to be avoiding me. I'm irritated as Phil applied these incentives on 5/17 which leads me to believe someone had to remove them.

The truck is awesome. $1,000 could buy new tires so I'm going to press the issue.

Wanted to close out my experience with Bud Clary as things are moving in a positive direction within the last few days. :)

1. Seems Chrysler Capital is doing odd things and rejected my financing (Credit Score 850). After resubmitting the paperwork, Amelia was able to get this pushed through. Sounds like she has been working tirelessly through weekends and days off to sort out some of the issues we've encountered.

2. $1,000 Ram Bonus Cash: They were able to get this attached as it was during the window of purchase. Once it goes through, Bud Clary will send me a check.

Overall I'm pleased with Bud Clary. As Reilly stated when picking up the truck, if things go wrong, they'll get it figured out and I feel they've held true.

EDIT: Typos

10 weeks for me, and still no build date. It's coming up on 2022 build time, and I am now wishing I would've just ordered one of those at the beginning of May. Now, I'm two months behind the head of the line.

I did notice that you now can't spec out the air suspension on a 2500 without getting the diesel

So much for my July 7th delivery date and getting my truck within 6 months of ordering, my truck is now delayed in shipping o_O and sitting in Missouri with no revised ETA available. If I had any other options available I'd be taking them but considering I am spending nearly $100k on a vehicle this has been one of the most frustrating and infuriating processes I have ever had. Absolutely no customer service/support or communication from Ram or dealerships at all, not even on the changes to my order. Least Ram could have done is given us decent July promotions but it is the worst promotion of the entire 6 months.

My brother bought his similarly equipped F-250 a week after I bought my Ram and he's been driving his for over 2 months. Even though I'm not a big fan of the F-250's I am starting to regret not going that route.

Sorry just had to vent some frustrations.

Are folks still getting two fobs when picking up orders? Parts Department at my local dealership mentioned Key fob ordering still seeing 2 month lead times.

Looks like you ordered well before me as well. I guess I have no hope for the Air and 4.10. May end of canceling and not accepting if that is the case.
If I am going to spend that much, I want it exactly as I order it. Will let you know!

Check with your dealer. They might be able to order a 2022 for you and then trade your 2021 for it when it comes in. My dealer said he will do this for me and I have asked him to put pen to paper and put it in writing with any limitations on mileage and expected cost in the event I am not happy with what comes in. I'm still waiting for the written version of it which may or may not come but could be an option.

At the end of the day the dealerships don't have a lot of motivation to work with us because it is better for them if we walk away because they can resell for much more than I have in my sales agreement.
