Thank youThis community force was the best one, I kept checking it and finally something came up last week
When did you order this truckSo my truck was unloaded from the rail car Wednesday morning. The dealer has no idea when it may show up on their lot and I received an unsolicited email from Stellantis Customer Care that stated it should be at the dealer between 8/11-8/25. This last journey from rail yard to the dealer may be the hardest part.
That is a BSNF transfer station , well at least its on its way here mine arrived earlier this week at the pitt meadows yard and is scheduled for Mon Aug 9 to ship up island YAHOO!Just got an update that my truck is in South San Antonio rail yard and is showing slight delays. My brother is a superintendent at CN Rail and trying to get him to clear the tracks lol![]()

So sad, hopefully it will be in soon. So, ordered my 2500 Big Horn on 4/5. Was told 8-12 weeks. Sold my old truck in mid may because the dealer said I’d be better off selling as opposed to trading. Salesman told me ship date was to be 5/17. On 5/19, I called to see if we were on schedule. He said it was being shipped early June for a 6/27 arrival at the local rail yard. On 6/29 I stopped by to see the progress. Salesman said it was at the local yard, but wouldn’t arrive at the dealer until 7/27. When questioned why it would take a month to be delivered from the rail yard that is only an hour away, he went to see his manager. The manager came back and said it hasn’t shipped yet from Saltillo and was scheduled to arrive at the rail yard on 7/27. It was finished being built on 5/27 and just sat in the yard in Mexico for over a month.
I asked him to call me with updates because I need the truck for trips at the end of July and mid august. In early July, he gave me a couple of phone updates that it was to arrive at the rail yard on 7/23. On 7/24, I stopped by to find out the progress. They said it is at the rail yard and should be in the dealer by 7/31. I called on 7/27 to get some details . The manager told me the truck is still on the rail car and can not be offloaded since the rail company lost the keys to all the vehicles on multiple rail cars.
They now have to re-key each vehicle. Manager said it could be a week or it could be a month. So, without my truck for my trip, I return a week later from said trip using multi vehicles. I call the dealer and was told by the manager that the keys are made and they are waiting for authorization to reprogram the vehicle. Dude wouldn’t give me a timeframe. This is where I sit. I’m 18 weeks in and could be several more. I ordered the vehicle with an 8-12 week timeframe thinking I had plenty of time to get it for my end of summer trips. Now, I’ll be lucky to have it to move my daughter to college in 3 weeks…
agreed. In my world, I’m figuring out how to get the trucks offloaded and sent to the dealerships so the dealers can handle the rekey/reprogram there. So sad, hopefully it will be in soon.
This sounds like bunch ******** from dealer. Mmm just wondering if they sold it to someone for more money? So, ordered my 2500 Big Horn on 4/5. Was told 8-12 weeks. Assuming he has the VIN, which you get pretty early in the build process, that would be a stunt that is next to impossible to pull off. This sounds like bunch ******** from dealer. Mmm just wondering if they sold it to someone for more money?
