Here is the single C6-28 harness wire that must be routed into the Power Distribution Center plug C6 spot 28 in the engine bay:

This picture contains wires for the projector LEDs (red & black) along with the LED fog lights (yellow x2) which all must penetrate the firewall and connect under the dash. The red (pin 1) and black (pin 2) are inserted into a small white two-pin connector (center of harness pic above) and then plugged into the CANBUS junction block (green with black base). The fog light connectors (yellow x2) will plug into the C1:1 and C4:13 on the BCM under the dash:

Here are the connectors for the LED fog lights along with one of two grounds present in the harness:

All credit for knowledge of this complex electrical system, design and construction of the custom harness and detailed instructions should be directed towards Jimmy07. Thank you so much Jimmy07 and congratulations on such a great job - these harnesses are beautiful.

"2 LOW" kit ordered from BD Diesel - thank you Brutal_HO!

Hello Darkone - that's a tough question since there are other great companies such as Baja Designs, Rigid Industries, VisionX, etc.

One key bit of information which provided me the additional information I was looking for was contained in the video below. When a company takes you through their entire process, you can see the specialized machines being used, the people using them, the testing that takes place, etc. it really sold me. If the other companies had similar information available this would have been even more difficult but take a look and feel free to share your thoughts...

That is a very informative video. Thanks for sharing that. They definitely take you through the entire process and give a lot of insight into their product. IMHO companies like that will earn a lot of business by showing customers exactly what goes on behind the scenes. Also being built in the USA goes along way for some people, myself included.

Valuable electrical information that I will be considering when installing my Victron Energy Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC charger:

Great thread!! Need some updated pics with those LED headlights.

Does anyone know exactly what type of terminal and seal are being used for the underhood connections for the auxiliary switches?

I believe I have found them here but I would like to confirm:

I'm not sure, but I believe that you can pick up the wiring harness kit from the dealership if it wasn't included with your truck initially. I just checked the part numbers on my own wiring kit to see if they are available online, but I couldn't find anything...

This was the closest I could find, and it shows that it's only for 2013-2017, so I'm not sure if they changed sizes with each generation.

Thank you - my kit came with my truck although I am looking for one more connector and seal so I can loop one of the factory wires instead of splicing two together.
