2021 RAM 2500 Big Horn Front Bumper Imperfections

Has anyone talked to their dealership about this?

I did, and they basically laughed at me and said that was just normal... they look at me wondering why I was concerned about such a minor issue (to them)....

I'm just going to live with it now... the longer is goes the less likely that anything will be addressed as a "new vehicle defect"... other dealers will simply treat it as a repair job and do a crap job respraying my bumper and charge me hundreds of dollars to "fix" something to probably a worse state than it was.

Basically, I came to the realization that to fix this, even if it is a factory defect, means a dealer sending it to be painted, and that means you put your trust in a repair shop that is an unknown entity... and I might end up with paint mismatch in colour and finish which will bother me even more than the way it is.

.... anyways, I am leaving mine and not worrying about it.

I'm going to say that they are all the same to some extent, some worse than others, and likely more noticeable in some cases.

As I mentioned in my post earlier, I spoke with my dealer, they gave me very odd looks and they never got back to me, more or less to say there is nothing wrong. Anyways, even if they did "repair" it, guaranteed as I have a painted bumper, it wouldn't match the factory paint to my satisfaction, so for me, I think I am better to leave it as is.

Just noticed my chrome bumper on driver side looks like this. Wonder how many others are like this???

When I was in Laughlin on vacation there was a lot of newer Ram trucks in the parking lot. Chrome and painted bumpers had the imperfections on a lot of them.
