I have my 2021 Ram 2500 6.4 Hemi in the shop. It has less than 5000 miles on it. I put it in for a rough idle, backfires at times when starting, and poor fuel economy. The dealer called me yesterday and said they believe they have found the problem. They found a Star case with a similar problem. They are saying that they may have to replace the camshaft and lifters or the engine if they find metal shavings in the oil. Has anyone else had or heard of this problem with such low miles? This is actually my second one of these trucks this year. The first one lasted six days before a 18 wheeler came into my lane and hit me head on at 70 miles per hour.
