I have a ECM with a D/C of 07/22/2021, before I try swapping it into my 2022 I want to make sure I bought the right one or if I should’ve bought an older one. I bought it from a junk yard and the seller claimed it came out of a 2021.
Yup all the correct P/N's Amauri showed is the correct numbers to look for. Its always good to start from a new blank one. The one you have, you dont know if its been "bricked" already from a bad attempt from tuning or the true history of the truck it came out of. Heck, junk yards will tell you anything to get rid of it....heck, what if it came from a flooded truck.
Usually there's a procedure to do before swapping out for a '21 ecm. Its creating an "image" of your current trucks ecm security files and then flashing that over to the new ecm....
