Hi! I’ve got a 2020 tradesman 3500 and just purchased a full set of door panels, seats and console from a 2022 laramie 1500. I’ve got alfaobd and I’ve used it for the headlights and I’ve seen the writeups for the seats.

My question is this, after purchasing the seats I realized the mounting brackets are different and I found a thread saying they won’t work. Will they not work just because of the brackets or is there something else that causes incompatibility? Also if there are resources for the harness need for console and seats I would appreciate it. Then a question in the console itself, it has 2 110v plugs but I don’t have the inverter in my truck. Is that something easy to add while going through this process?

I can weld and fabricate so if it’s just the brackets I’m not worried about it, any input or advice is appreciated!

Anyone? I was also wondering if someone could send me a picture of how the reclining rear seats attach to the rear wall of the cab? I know my brackets are different and I would like something to go off of to figure it out. I haven’t tried yet but it looks like the rear seats should bolt in. I just need to make sure and get them secured in the back. Thanks for any help!

Can't help you with the seats but you can add an investor easy, plenty of aftermarket inverters, buy one you like, rig it in and fabricate an extension cord to connect to the back of 120V plugs

Thanks for the input! I’m still trying to figure out the wiring diagrams for the seats. I’m not 100% sure if I’ll use the console or not because I’ve got 4x4 shift on the floor. So that would require some modifying but it is a sweet console. I’m probably going to try out the rear seats tonight. Just trying to finish up my dirty work so I don’t stain up the seats moving them around. I’ll double check the plugs but that would be a pretty simple solution instead of trying to work with the factory wiring. I could likely wire in low voltage for charging off the sub ports as well. Definitely more of a project than I was hoping for but the seats are so nice!

Went to a dealership to try to learn a little more. I’ll add my progress in hopes it might help someone else out. This part is apparently called a striker and it’s a bolt on piece available from the dealer. Looks like if I can get the rears bolted in I just need get a pair of these brackets and it will be good to go.

Any updates on fitting your 1500 seats in? We're those brackets really the only difference? We're those brackets not already on hd seats?
