So after 3 alignment and lots of people looking at the truck, the only way to get my truck to drive straight is to put a little cross caster in the front axel. Thuren specs didn’t work at all.

My truck has a passenger lean of 3/4” but the truck drive straight as an arrow now.

Thinking it may have to do with the wheel and tire set up? 33/12.5r20 -40 offset.

Let me know what y’all think.

If the truck has a lean, something is wrong with the suspension. Tires and wheels have nothing to do with it unless they are not all the same brand/size.
May have a spring not seated, coil bind, or something else going on
The Thuren specs work great on my '21 power wagon with BFG 35x12.50 17 on stock rims.

I’ve had 3 techs say everything checks out, because when the caster cams are close to the same positions the truck is level, BUT it will pull left. There is only lean because of the cross caster he has to put in it. Other wise the truck doesn’t lean at all when the Cams mirror each other.

So I’m not sure why is needs cross caster to drive straight.

As you can see I was really close to thuren specs before and the bottom is the new specs to not have a left pull.

What’s weird is there is still way more positive caster in the passenger side yet it drives straight.

And as you can see from my previous specs I have about the same amount of positive caster on the passenger side yet the truck pulled left.

Does the lean level out when you're sitting in it and have a full tank of fuel?

Also, those toe specs seem odd to me.

I had thuren specs. That didn’t work. So I went back to factory specs and he had to do a little cross caster to get it to drive straight. I adjusted the caster in the passenger side a little and now the truck is like 3/8” lower on the passenger side and the truck drives straight.

Im beginning to think not only does the caster play an effect, but the bolt on the upper part of the radius arm is like the part that hold it in place and then you can adjust the caster cams from there and the truck won’t pull.

Idk, that’s just a theory. I don’t think many people know how to align these trucks properly without causing a lean.

Changing wheel offset does not change alignment. However, going with a big offset may change the scrub angle which in turn may change how the truck drives. Your alignment guy may then change the alignment to get it to drive better. So you end up with settings that are very different from stock.

Is a -40 offset big? Lol

Most of them lean. Some don’t. I went through the same thing at the dealer. So I got a 6” bds kit and 26x14s. I thought the new suspension would eliminate the lean but no luck. Still look good tho lol. Let us know when you figure it out.
