2020 ordering?

Omg That's last year, I Shouldn't even complain lol
My b-day is tomorrow, I really hoped my truck would be here but i guess thats not happening :(

I got 1FastHemi beat! I ordered my 2500 Limited back in November. It's been sitting at my local dealer for 3 weeks, but they're closed due to coronavirus closure and sales layoffs. Let's see if I get before 6 months have passed!

Bummer for you. In my state car dealerships are granted "essential business" status. I'll be receiving and purchasing my trk in the next couple of months.

I think you 2 guys got it the worst of any of us for delays, damage, an closures. I've said it before, don't think I could weather that storm, having s hard enough time with my situation. Your stories definitely humble me a bit though.

What rebates, that's my point, there aren't any rebates on 2020s.

It's not just rebates. If you find a dealer willing to give up $10K or more (invoice+holdback) and still offer 0%, let us know.

Exactly right, there not going to loose on all ends. Especially for those of us well over 10k off

Same here. My dealership texted me and said they think my 3500 will arrive in two weeks. Fingers crossed.
Same here from 4/9 - 4/23 , at least I hope. That would put us around a total of about 2 months, wich compared to some would be really well with all things considered

Yeah, but that's your second go around. I bet your not as anxious this time because you have been through how bad it can be. Or could be the opposite, more anxious from dragging on. My fingers are crossed for yah. Once is bad enough, can't imagine twice, let alone a potrntial third time. At some point I'd walk, don't know what my breaking point would be

More anxious this time I guess but know what BS to expect on this second one. Now I wonder as late as it is starting to get in the model year, I wonder if I should wait on the 2021 model due to the new Uconnedt 5 coming out?

All my discount coupons have now expired and cant get new ones or extended, about 2 k. With the first truck situation I was to move my daughter across the country including her car. I bought a used enclosed 45 ft goose neck show car hauler, made a lot of repairs and upgrades to it to move her from lower Alabama to N W Wyoming so she could start her new job. Now that didn't work out I had 2 days to hire a moving company to move everything including her car and it all coat me about 17k. I could have saved about 10 k of that moving her my self. So the story is besides the loss of discount coupons and last minute moving plan changes, cost me a lot of $$$ because of the first truck being ordered wrong and arriving damaged.

I guess you can now see how and why I am in such a $****y @$$ mood over all of this. However FCA and the Dealer and I have been working on something to make the replacement vehicle a sweeter deal, bu they won't give it to me in writing. They just say they will take of it and make me happy. That is why I can't say what dollar amount has been worked out yet and I won't know until the replacement vehicle arrives, I have been in limbo, pins and needle this whole time.

I really don't know how you have done it. Those cost numbers are insane. One of the rare arguments i got into with my dealer was that same thing. They didn't want to give a minimum quoted amount on my trade an put the new truck in writing. I told them that was a deal breaker for us, an i can't do this on anybody's word or handshake. I explained that I am a high maintenance buyer ( no comments please) an in my life I've been burned every way that I could ever imagine an that's not there fault but I have trust issues an I would not make a deal based off of word of mouth an a handshake. It had to be in writing with a guarantee that the agreed upon deal could never get worse only better, whatever happened to incentives an rebates was not my problem after we signed our agreement. Finnally they came around an agreed. Unfortunately as we all know there is too much shadyness out there an were never going to know until its all done an we drive home. I understand dealerships need to make money, it just doesn't need to be as much as they push for. So we wait them out, an in your case I hope for you an litz that all the extra wait you have endured pays off to your liking

They get a kick back from FCA for financing through them, no matter what the interest rate is. Also I've never, ever negotiated financing along with the vehicle price even if I ended up going with dealer financing. My PW deal was almost 13% off MSRP (just over 9k off, basically EPP and that was before I got the random targeted 1k mailer) and I brought my own financing so the dealer got nothing on the back end.

If I were Rich, Id tell them no matter what your deal was, you're taking the 0% or they can piss off but that's just me.

I appreciate it man an i totally get were your coming from, i do. I honestly believe I'm probably getting one of the best deals that we have all bragged about on this forum. AN 83,000k for 69,500k . Plus they throw in 50 gallons of fuel, free chrome side steps, free 2 yrs of service, 300 off a $1500 fiver hitch an they set it in for me. They have put up with me for 6 months when nobody would call me . they gave me between highest value an retail on trade. He asked that i make the payments for 3-4 months before i pay it off or switch it to a 0% card of mine because then they won't look like a dirty dealership an also there kick backs normally comes in between 3-4 months, so to me getting an extra 3500 in rebates an only pay 400 in interest over 4 months is s pretty good deal. Thats about 16.3% off, so I'm really happy with my deal. I'm sure there is something I'm forgetting like I didn't even put down 1 penny, i have nothing invested so far, plus our deal is wrote that if incentives an rebates change that my deal is guaranteed to not get worse but if something changes for the better, the deal can get better. I've never had a good sales experience in my life until this one, it's been great to deal with this dealership, SM is absolutely awesome. Now I don't have a truck yet an yes anything can happen, but I think I did pretty good for a 6 month wear em down deal. I mean this rig has got it all for 69,500, i couldn't be happier. When it gets here undamaged. Knock on wood, fingers crossed

That 0% card will probably cost you a transfer fee unless they're throwing up one of those rare offers. I did that once with Wells Fargo, 0% for 18 mo and no fee. Used their money for 18 months.

Right, but what I'm saying is it's very unlikely anyone is going to get 13% off and get 0% financing on a 3500HD. If so, then I'll admit I'm wrong.

I negotiated 11% off ($9600) before the $1K incentive (so 12%) with no talk of financing or trade and walked in with my own pre-approved financing when the truck came in. I let the dealer play and they were able to get me a better deal and I full well understood they were making something on it. I also got a maxcare at $100 over cost. I'm happy with my deal, if not the timing all things considered.

Your exactly right, an that's exactly what were doing. I know you an I have talked about this before, but when you have a dang near perfect credit score of 840 , Lots of lending company's tend to throw deals at you an I'm grabbing. The whole trick is like you said, using someone else's money to save/ make me money. You don't get to this point in your life an have 0 debt an purchase a 85k truck w/hitch an with a fico of 840 an be a dummy on how to work it. I do understand all opinions on it, we just have to remember that were all trying to make educated guesses based on a few chat postings. An there is no way to get all of someone's bio an facts an history in a few chat postings to be able to truly know each others situation. We're all just doing our best An offering our knowledge , advice, an opinions based on limited posted info, theres no way to get the whole situation out there. I do enjoy every ones chatting with me on these topics as i enjoy you all letting me get in a word or two or 3 pages.

Dealer said my truck arrived in Nebraska yesterday morning. He said it should be in Laurel Montana within a week or so. Then picked up by truck for final 90 miles to dealer.
