Haven’t picked her up yet. So haven’t even driven with the 4.10. But yes no damage. Looks good.
I didn’t buy a 3/4 truck for the mpgs :p

She ot to have plenty of go power. Super glad to hear it arrived undamaged

i have a boat (7k ish) and horse trailer (10k lbs) that I tow fairly often. I’m not a fan of the current diesels due to variety of reasons. Cost, maintenance, emissions. Etc. but I do love the smell of a diesel and the raw power.

The truck I ordered is rated to trailer tow over 17k lbs!! While 11k ish is prob most it will ever see, I figured the 4.10 will handle loads better then the 3.73.

You will definitely enjoy the responsiveness. But I do have to say as a Cummins/aisin build man enthusiasts. There is allot to be said for being able to tow 35,100 a d a gcwr of 43k with 1000 ft lbs of tq. We all definitely have our own specific wants an needs an theirs no wrong truck that's a ram. I love em all an there is s design out there for all of us that works dang well.

Just confirming this. Got a call from Ram Cares asking to approve the bed utility group without the bed step and that they’ll email me a a 15% off coupon shortly.

I was finally able to access by build sheet today and it includes the bed step. I hope that means it really does because I haven't received any other indication that I'm getting any kind of voucher, etc., in lieu of.

Hope yours ships with it!

Accessing your build sheet for the first time means your truck is about to hit production. Based on my tracking (messaging ram cares and my dealer weekly) they held my truck post production and informed me about the bed step during their QA check after. They alleged the call required my concurrence for shipping release. I’d guess you’ll know for sure in about a week or so.

Mine was/is the exact same scenario. Was on build sheet prior too actual production, built in just a few days, been in storage/ awaiting further quality inspections for almost two wks now. After 1 wk in storage dealer called with the news/q&a , the step is being held up due to virus an do you want the truck left in storage to wait on step or released from storage an your issued a voucher, was a no brainer for me personally.

According to RAM Chat, "your order is in the stage prior to being released by the plant." That tells me I may get the same call about the bed step. Like you said, I'll know shortly I'm sure.

If that's the only thing that doesn't get installed on mine during this pandemic then ill be happy with that. Fingers crossed, in 19 when I tried doing build late in the year, at first it was no spray in bed liner, then they said no fifth/goose tow prep pkg, then they said no sun roofs but hey we can cut into your 85 k truck roof an install one for you. HELL TO THE NOOOOOOO

If it's due to the virus, I'm sure I'll get the same call. People are acting like the Coronavirus is World War Z so I'm sure that step ain't being installed.

That's what I was told anyway, not sure were its made, maybe wuhan, who knows, I'm must thankful that's the only part right now there out of. I'm just anxious for them to get mine on a train an get it out of Mexico before our lovely gov could potentially close the border.

Same here. Mine is built and sitting in JS (Storage) for a week+ now - so Bed Step could be the problem. I'd feel better if it was in Storage somewhere in US. No phone call though...

Mine has been in storage for 10 days. Ok, i just got another call from ram cares an she explained the reimbursement for the step. She said even though I bought the bed group for $745 that they would communicate with my dealer to take off around $380 for the bed step off of the final sales price. Then when the step comes back out in late May she would email me a 15% off voucher. She said the 380 was my dealer specific parts price an other dealerships would be different.

Interesting

My salesman at dealership just replied about how the compensation process should go on step an he said, sounds about right.

If the supply of bed steps are being held up due to the Corona virus I guess that they are made in china.

AN I thought we were buying American made products. HA

That's what I heard. I have also heard the part number is up to "AD or AE" now.

When I talked to ram cares at around lunch time today, she said the end of May would be the earliest projected time. All pending on how long people are out of work an buisnesses being closed
