2020 longhorn 3500 ctd

Awesome truck and very nice place you got there! What tires are you running and do you like them?

Great looking truck, congrats !! Longhorn is my favorite trim level.

Your new truck and the background are wonderful. Please keep us informed how those tires hold up

How do you like the BDS kit (fit-finish, ride qaulity etc) and how many Canukle dollars did it cost? Thx and again nice truck and nice place!

I am happy with the kit. It was dealer supplied and installed as part of the purchase. I do not recall the amount but somewhere around $1k in our beaver bucks. It rides like a one ton still but I like that:D The farm is pretty this time of year though it is tough keeping ahead of the grass. Bit of a wet morning but the air was warm and fresh. Birds are everywhere now which is nice except when they sh1t on my truck.

I like the wheels too - they really have grown on me. I spent a bunch of time a couple months ago looking for an aftermarket "summer set" that where available in the right offset. but did not find a wheel I liked better than the stock ones. I am looking for another set of these wheels to mount winter tires on but not seeing much out there. Will likely just pick up a set of oem black wheels to use for the winter.

I think I'm going to keep my eyes open for a take off set too. My old 04.5 chrome clad wheels were easy to keep clean and a little chrome polish sorted them out if i waited too long. I foresee the new wheels as being a bit of a PITA and they have to be kept clean with the mag chloride they use on the roads here.

I hauled hay for decades and know what that stuff does to a finish coat. I cringe seeing that picture. We had bought a 96 ram duelly new and used it on the farm and the interior and exterior didn't take long to ruin. Now that Cummins kept on chugging and that thing was abused. You have Such a nice truck to be a farm truck. Got to say, I'm partial to the Laramie or limited trims. Limited just wasnt worth another 6k for me. Plus the limited didn't come in a sport pkg. never much cared for the longhorn western themed trim interior but thats why we all built our own dream machines. No matter what we built, it's ours, and we love them just as much as the next person loves theres

It was only spot duty. We have an old Ferd flatdeck we used for hay but the battery died - got a new one today.
