I was trying to order a new 2500 Bighorn through a dealer the other day and when I asked for the build sheet, they told me the sport appearance was added in because the manufacturers is requiring them to add it in for this body level. Anyone else been told this? I may just put off purchasing one now until this changes.

Doesn’t sound right to me. I thought the chrome package came standard on the big horn. And the sports package was an additional add on.

I assumed this wasn't true and was probably adding additional packages for a bigger profit. I'm not happy with the sales person I've been talking to at this dealership. Is it poor character to try and talk to someone who is more reputable at this dealership who won't lie to me?

I would get very familiar with what packages and options are available on the trim level you want. Go on rams website and build your truck. So when you go to the dealer you can call their BS. When I ordered my truck there was no confusion or debate on what I wanted. Because I used the online tool like 50 times haha.

Sounds like ********, unless you are asking for an option that forces you to take the sports package. I'd get more familiar with the build and price on ramtrucks.com.

Dang, cant even write bull s..t.

I've built my truck so many times I have it down by hart which options need to be selected with each other and the sport package never is one of them. It makes it difficult because i'm contacting them from out of state and I can't sit in the dealership with them. I think I may contact someone else from that dealership who's more well known.
