How many options are there out there for the soft topper? I have looked through this thread and seen a few, I am on the fence right now on one. I currently have a quad fold tonneau cover that I do not like, but not sure that I want to spend the money for a hard topper just yet, as well I am not sure if our bikes would fit under the hard topper. Also, I don't think their is any issue with wind--the topper doesn't really move while driving, and dust doesn't get in.

I think that would be half my concern with your dogs. It's black and gets really hot under there, even after driving. There is no air flow unless you remove the side panels, which would obviously increase wind hitting the dogs.

Now, that is the bestop. There is a kit for the softopper that aligns with the back window of your truck. You could plumb cool air or heat this way while also protecting the dogs from the elements.

Hope that helps!
