We love yah love golf, just checking yah, its all good here:cool:

Got all mighty, i hope you made some of that profit
Nope.
A year later I got transferred during the recession. At that time the unsold new homes were being rented to the local military for just the developer's interest payment. Houses were not selling. Was lucky that a fellow worker had the money to cash me out so I could buy at the new location. Took a loss to get rid of it. It took the fellow worker a year to sell it and he only broke even.

The same kind of story on my second home. Bought in a seller market, got transferred again during a buyers market and took another loss.

Third home was better. Another new one at 27,800.00. Got transferred again and sold at 89,500.00. Actually sold it at 98,900.00 but at the time the banks were trying to control the market and would only loan 89,500.00.

Bought the current home in 1976 for 98,500.00, now worth 850,000.00. It hit 1.2 mil during the highest market that went bust.

My next and last home is a plot I own in the country - Glenn Abby Cemetary :)

Would any of you 19 model guys or gals share your personal experience of how you were able to track your build model once it left the saltillo Mexico plant an explain the steps you went through to find out if its on a truck or rail an wich car an tracking, etc.

^^^^ Rich, Thanks for asking that.

I have searched high and low, on Google and 6 other forums and found nothing.
Hoping we learn how, especially in this "hold" mode where it seems no one knows the real status.

I'm hoping all it is, that our dealer can provide us the rail company like Norfolk southern an even possibly the car. We ought to be able to navigate it from there. But we need some help

My dealer claimed there's no way to track the truck when it's on the train. They get notified when it arrives at their local railyard. And even then it can take a couple of weeks to leave the railyard and be delivered to the dealer. Assuming, of course, that your dealer stays open.

I don't care if I can't track it on the train or truck I just want to know where it is. Is it in storage, is it on a train, is it on a truck, is in New Orleans, is it in Los Angeles? I read posts on different forums where the poster seems to know those things. So it must be available. All I know now is it went into KZ status on 3/14. KZ = released by plant, invoiced, approved for shipment, not scheduled

Your dealer can look that up on their system. They just can't track it while traveling by rail. I don't think there's a way for a customer to look it up themselves. At least I couldn't while mine was being shipped. I was notified by my local dealer when it left Mexico. Then 3 weeks later when it arrived at the dealership. Sadly they're closed for who knows how long, so now it's sitting at the dealer. :(

I'm kind of a controle freak (as you all know) so i want to know every move she makes an especially doesn't make. I'm paying $1,695, i think we ought to be provided tracking # for that price

If told me yesterday to ask my dealer for Rubicon VLS screen for your VIN. That it's a dealer tracking system, so I plan on doing that tomorrow, well see if they know what that means

They stopped allowing detail rail tracking years ago due to terrorism concerns.

It's not toilet paper from Amazon fer cryin out loud.

At this point, what difference does it make anyway?

;-)

Your dealer will know when it hits the local railhead and can ask the FCA rep to expedite the offload.

At this point, I'd be surprised if he dealer didn't just hand you the keys when it's in and let you have it for free just to get rid of you. Then again, I suppose they never will.

Your being a bully brutal, have you been to Wal-Mart lately. It's like a third world country. We go as soon as they open an after 1 trip a wk for the last 3 wks every time there completely out of tp an paper towel. I'll have to resort to leaves before long. An your right, my dealer will probably have it running for me when we get there and say , ok here you go talk to yah later nice doing buisness with yah. Oh an btw, have y'all seen the frozen food aisle, i mean if my wife says your on your own tonight , I'm sol

I send my wife to forage, I'm the hunter.

Our freezer is full of meat and beer. The liquor and wine cupboard is stocked and there's 60 days of prepper food and water in the basement.

Tomorrow we're having Pheasant for dinner.

;-)

She is counting the TP rolls and we're down to 18 unless I crack open some MRE's and pull out the military grade stuff.

Your in good shape. When we sold our 3500 sq ft home to full time in our RV, one of the biggest things we had to give up was storage space for lots of pantry stuff that is mostly filed with my tools. We did get rid of the dining table an put in a chest freezer though, that thing is a life saver. Tiny living has its challenges but also equal rewards. Just a HUGEEEEEEEE life adjustment

Seriously? Bitching they're not getting their orders because the plants are closed, etc. Read previous posts.
Whoa, somebody’s having a bad day. Neat thing about forum s........you don’t have to read them or participate if you don’t want to. Relax. It will be ok.

Rich, since we're joined at the door handle for this train ride, I hope you're not going to start "free rangin" again...

@mlink , Don't say anything about that, He hasn't had a chance to think of that yet. They are having enough trouble figuring out how to put their knees and legs under the top of the freezer to eat dinner now that they have replaced the table with the freezer.... LOL
