2019 Ram Heavy Duty orders - Tell us about yours!

My salesman just emailed me an said they can't make a discounted deal w/o step an the voucher will be sent to me.

Hahaha. Yer braver than me. I'm to chicken to go under the knife, dr said it could go either way. I told him ill just keep self medicating. Guess it's either my liver or a possible botched back job, so I'm taking my chances with the liver
Believe me, it wasn’t my first choice, nor was it an easy one. After healing up, I was glad I did it. No pain anymore. My liver had already been paying the price for a previous dr’s meds. All anterior operation. I get what you mean though, kinda like me and flying anymore, if the pilot is having a bad day.......so are you.

I just looked at install instructions for the amp step and they bolt onto the bumper brace, you remove 2 factory bolts and use amps longer bolts in their place. Easy Peasy.

That's interesting. Before I placed my order for a 3500, I was looking at some 2500s on the lot and asked about getting that step installed as an option on a truck that didn't have the Bed Utility Group installed. The dealership said they can't install that, it's a factory install. Goes to show some dealerships have their heads up their @$$ half the time.

Half the time, more like 95% of the time. They just make it up as they go to what suites them the best, an then we here a different enthusiast who had a different outcome. I believe that's part of why we all share our experiences an Intel. To hold them accountable

Like Rich has said before, we seem to know more about the trucks than the dealers do. They need to stick to shuffling paper, I guess.

Nice looking build plans. The pre production an production process went pretty quick for me, its the after build an in storage time an awaiting inspections that has been lengthy. But the built it surprisingly quick

I just got word from my dealer that at the close of business today the sales department will be shut down until APR 17th as they are considered non- essential. I live in the Buffalo area and my truck is enoute in Bellevue, OH. Right around 250 miles apart. So close, yet so far away.

Well that sucks. Mine is In Arkansas an have not said anything about closures yet. They do have posted on there site the typical covid 19 info about how there cleaning an will bring the vehicle to you, but they just got 6 loads of vehicles so hopefully yours is just an isolated incident.

My oldest son, an Audi Master Tech that just jumped ship to Mercedes, said their sales dept in San Antonia is shut down but service is considered "essential" to support first responders, so while it's slow, it's business as usual for them. Lucky for him, he moved from a low base salary, high revenue compensation plan as the shop foreman to a guaranteed hourly position with Mercedes.

My youngest son is also an auto tech and just started his apprenticeship at a local Audi dealer so I hope they have enough work for him to stay employed.

The service and parts departments are going to remain open because they are considered "essential ". Just sales and their associated office types (such as finance) get a vacation.

Window sticker became available today. ETA 3/23 to 4/6. Will see how it all works out. I'm very patient and in no rush considering current events.

Couple things to note:
3 options I selected increased in price from the original order and differ from current website advertising:
High output increased $200, from $11795 to $11995
Limited level 1 increased $100, from $3440 to $3540
Dual rear wheels increased $100, from $895 to $995

Hopefully 0% 84 months becomes eligible to the 3500s!
