2019 RAM 3500 DRW 2WD 4WD Issue

I have a 2019 RAM 3500 DRW LARAMIE LONGHORN. When I switch the vehicle back to 2WD from 4WD HIGH the 2WD drive light is on but it still drives like it’s in 4WD high. Has anyone else had this issue or know what it is and what’s the fix?

I believe your transfer case is electronically actuated? No floor shifter correct? I wonder if it’s just taking a minute to complete the shift. Have you done some forward and reverse maneuvers to unload the gears in the case and let the solenoid do its thing?

No floor shifter and I have tried forward and reverse etc and still 2WD is highlighted but it drives like it’s in 4WD which I notice when trying to turn
