2019 Cummins 6.7 dually 3500 stalls on freeway and hard to start!

Hi all, my 2019 cummins 6.7 with 127,000 miles stalled a couple of times while driving within the past weeks. When I tried to start it, its very hard to start. It could be cranking for 5-7 seconds before it can start. This problem comes and goes. Also it idles pretty rough. Especially at 1200-1400 rpm truck vibrates a lot. After 1500 rpm then it’s smooth out again. Anyone ran into this issue? Do you know what it might be? It doesn’t throw any codes. Truck has been deleted. This problem happens before and after the deletion.

Cp4 or cp3 pump which one do you have?

Cp4.. i never did the recall

Have you had your CP4 high pressure fuel pump replaced under the Y78 recall?

I would highly recommend you get that done asap. Sounds like your CP4 is on its way out. It may already be putting metal into your fuel system.

Its more likely a failing lift pump or FCA vs a failing CP4 when the CP4 goes it goes it does not give intermittent issues

Where did you get your fuel filters?
Amazon has many counterfeit fuel filters that will cause issues.
